The Amos Family has been serving the Shawnee area community for many years. We're thankful to be an important part of this community and will continue our longstanding legacy of helping families honor their loved ones. In 1945, E. Paul drove around the suburbs of Kansas City looking for a community that would support a funeral home.

Amos Family Funeral Home were so accommodating, professional, caring and friendly when helping my family plan the funeral for my mother. Exactly what a family is in need of when they lose a loved one. Teagan kept in touch frequently and made calls for me without my even asking her to. We also used them when my father passed thirteen years ago. We received the very same treatment then.

Planning a funeral to honor a loved one is a very hard thing to do but Teagan took the time to make my mother’s service very special for our family!
