When we designed our office we eliminated goopy tooth molds for good. If we need an impression of your teeth we use a digital scanner that is often faster and more accurate than molds.

My name is Dr. Blaseio (rhymes with Ohio) but you can call me Dr. Alex. I am originally from SoCal, short for Southern California, but have lived in Florida, New York, and even Germany. Traveling to and living in so many places, made me a great appreciator of food. I love Mexican food from SoCal, gulf coast shrimp from Florida, bagels (of course) from New York, and traditional bratwurst and sauerkraut from Germany.
There's a lot of ways we aim to be different. Our approach to your treatment is to be honest and to let you be part of the decision process. Here are some things you'll love about our practice. We contract directly with Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, MetLife, and United Healthcare but are in network with many more.

While traveling to Nashville for ice hockey with my son, he needed attention to his braces. The folks at Genuine Ortho were open on a Friday (yes, open, on Friday) and were super helpful getting my son in. They made the process super simple, and despite being an “out of towner” they made us feel like part of the family.

Dr Alex and staff are so nice, friendly, and thorough. Office a super clean and inviting. It’s hard to find a Board Certified Orthodontist that is very specific and specialized - this is a great spot. My boys are comfortable and I feel like they are getting the right care, they listen and care about my boys. Thank you Dr Alex and team :)

I took my two sons to 4 orthodontists for consultations and Dr. Alex had everything we were looking for. Genuine Orthodontics offers a highly personalized experience and latest best practices- Dr Alex knows his stuff. Plus, this is a small practice (Dr. Alex and Maleah are the two staff members!) that makes you feel like family. The office is clean and beautiful. Highly recommend!

Genuine Orthodontics is just that: Genuine. I was initially interested in Genuine because they had the most competitive price point for the service I needed. Upon arrival for my appointment, I was met with a small, but capable and friendly staff. The atmosphere was welcoming and every room was well lit with natural light. The seating area and all equipment were clean. The Doctor himself was “Genuinely” interested in hearing about my life and listened well to questions and concerns I had - all this is impressive to me because I was only there for one small thing! I have always been self conscious of my smile as I have an underbite. I’ve put off going to the orthodontist for years because I was told I would have to have jaw surgery to correct my bite, and I just couldn’t afford the procedure. However, I decided to go for a consultation at Genuine Orthodontics, and I am so glad I did. Dr. Alex was super friendly and confident that he could help correct my bite without the surgery. I have been 3 times now, and have been impressed. The facility is very clean and Dr. Alex was able to see me right away. I can’t say enough great things about Genuine Orthodontics

This is an amazing place! Im not from Tennessee so i did not have an orthodontist here today fix my retainer that i broke!!! Luckily they were able to get me in the same day i called to get a 3D scan (instead of having to take impressions which sometimes can not be fun) and i'm getting a new retainer for an amazing price!!! I normally never leave reviews but i enjoyed my experience here and the receptionist was also very nice!!

HIGHLY recommend Genuine Orthodontics to anyone of any age! The office is absolutely beautiful, from its stylish details to its impeccably clean feel. I'm so happy to have found Dr. Blasaio's practice. It was easy to schedule an appointment with them as they answered the phone the first time I called and had an available appointment just two days away. Dr. Blasaio' took the time to listen to my needs and to explain the different options to me. It is a family-friendly, professional, and pleasant place!
