In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

I see Dr. Dan Abeckjerr and he is the best chiropractor I've ever been to! He has an amazingly gentle adjustment technique that is very effective. He took thermal images and x-rays to start and made the proper diagnosis. This is very important because I went to the Joint Chiropractic in Aventura previously and they did not take x-rays before adjusting me. Then they proceeded to adjust me very rigorously which made my situation worse because I had disc damage and inflamation of the disc. The staff is also great at Cloverleaf. Your spine is precious and believe me the doctor you choose matters!!

The incompetence here is astounding! I called while visiting with family out of town to schedule an appointment. I asked if my healthcare provider was accepted by their office as it had been some time since my last visit. The male on the phone said oh absolutely. I went as far as to ask the copay. He said it would be calculated the day of the visit. Thus I return early and show up for the appointment. I walk in, say good morning, begin completing the forms, pass over my I'd and insurance card. Then I'm told my insurance is not accepted.I asked why this wasn't conveyed via phone 3 days ago, all
