We manage twenty four condominiums, cooperatives and homeowner associations located in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Although the majority of the properties are full service management, some are financial management only. Property management is our only business. We do not buy and sell real estate, we only manage it for others.

We seem to have found our niche and operate in a very "hands on" fashion. We like to be selective in the properties that we manage and enter into management agreements only with those with whom we feel we can have a good rapport, open communication and the desire to develop a meaningful long term relationship.
Services
Shea Management was incorporated in July of 1994 and many of the communities that were with us then are with us now.

In addition to our property managers, accounting personnel and administrative staff, we also have a licensed, Second Class Operating Engineer on call for building inspections, updating of the remaining useful life of items on Reserve Schedules, assisting in energy conservation programs, utility analysis, energy management systems, to fill in for engineers on-site when they go on vacation or are out sick for an extended period of time, and to be available in the event of an emergency.
At Shea Management's expense, unit owners are provided with twelve individual and pre-printed coupons and envelopes to accompany remittance. The remittance comes directly to the Shea Management office where is it deposited into a separate interest-bearing Money Market Account in the association's name.

Google needs negative stars - the absolute most incompetent of property management. Quick to send up to dat and current accounts to court for no reason - improper accounting management of accounts, cashes checks without recording payments - does not take ACH payments in this modern age, unresponsive and contributes nothing to the actual management of the association or property. Poorly skilled to be serving in this capacity. Do not contract services with this company.

Changed community mailboxes three weeks ago in the middle of a pandemic yet didn’t consider how to get the residents their copy of the key and refuses distribute keys after three requests and wants to jeopardize the entire community’s health and well-being by sending them to the post office to access their mail because the postman won’t deliver to the old mailboxes that are tied to trees and illegal per the laws of the post office. Barbara the President is rude and has extremely poor customer service skills with a pass the buck attitude as the cherry on top of her deems her work ethic. See
