I have been training at Performance Jiu-Jitsu since 2005. My only regret is that I did not start sooner. As a Police Officer in New Jersey, I know the importance of self-defense. I believe that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the best no-nonsense martial art out there. Many instructors can execute the moves but don't know how to teach. Louis can do both.

Have been there three months so far. The head instructor Lou is extremely professional and welcoming. The atmosphere is very supportive, members all strive to help each other learn and grow as Jiu Jitsu martial artists. I originally joined to get into shape and lose some weight. In doing so, I have found BJJ to be both physically AND mentally interesting, fortifying, strengthening, as it tests your capacity to learn and grow in multiple dimensions. Would recommend to anyone.

I have been here for 5 years. I am so happy to call this academy my home. I definitely recommend this academy for all men, women and children. There are a lot more women who have joined the academy and love it and the kids classes are upbeat and a good size. This is a very friendly atmosphere and everyone helps each other. We are family here! I can say this academy has made me a better person - through jiujitsu and the guidance of my instructor and training partners, this academy has had a positive affect on my life. Highly recommended.

Great school, I have been here for over 5 years and the level of competition is tremendous. Everyone at the school is respectful, and friendly. I consider it my second home. This school not only offers great martial arts, but also a oppoortunity to get a great workout, make new friends, and build confidence and self esteem. Lou is a great instructor, along with the other black belts that help instruct. Take the chance to at least try it out, you won't regret it.
