After posting this review - we had a team member contact us. Javell kept in contact and apprised of our status, which is what we were looking for/hoping for. Our issue has been corrected and we are again producing solar.
So sad to have to write this review. We used Semper for solar installation in 2014, then another small set of panels in 2018, then roofing in 2020. Our solar stopped working almost a month ago (12/20.) We have called for service repeatedly and been told someone would get back to us in 1-3 days with nothing, so we followed up. Semper Solaris is really a solid choice for your next Solar project. Specific to my project, I had a great overall experience.
I only had two issues related to poor communication (handoff from sales to install, and installer confusion related to an attic conduit run). The first issue was remedied quickly by the management team in the Service Department. The second issue, was expertly handled by the Project Manager.

Semper Solaris did a Tesla Powerwall project for us. Under promised and over delivered. Every employee I dealt with was extremely pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable and I mean every employee. The batteries arrived sooner than expected. Installation smooth and fast.Took care of everything including County and utility inspections. Everything went smoothly and quickly. Then they walked me through the Tesla app set-up process to get the batteries to work in the most effective and efficient manner.

We have had an awful experience with semper solaris so far. Fair warning, they have not even installed anything yet. They blame COVID and SDGE for delays, which is understandable though most businesses have navigated the pandemic reasonably well. But this last month they came to our home for an inspection, gave us completely unclear directions for cutting down a hedge, and when we did it, our job was canceled because of sprinklers in the way. These sprinklers were clearly visible to their team who were so in the hedges that they ran a copper wire immediately past the sprinklers and through the

The only reason for the five stars is because of one person, Rachel Korp. Rachel did more in one week than three other people couldn't/wouldn't do in two months. She kept us informed via email and phone, as to the steps being taken, where before, WE were the ones reaching out to see what was taking so long. All we kept getting was "there was a plan change." Then, they would say "Let me look into this and I'll call you back," but there was never a call back, while the project seemed like it would never get finished. Flawless from start to finish. From the original sales call and survey to the "Switch On". The communication was direct, friendly, prompt and accurate. Which is what one would want when someone is going to bolt photovoltaic apparatus to the roof of your dwelling! They always alerted me weeks and days in advance as to the agenda and plan and we're never wrong, late or uninformed. Nothing was a surprise. When the guys showed up, they worked like they were Bionic. Looked like a time lapse video! When the Building inspector came, his words were: "Nice Work, PASSED!"

Our sales rep Rhami at Semper Solaris had the overall best presentation, answering all our questions and providing us a strong sense of working with a reputable company. He also gave us the best price and was able to coordinate with the design team to get the right number of panels on our roof which will provide energy savings for conceivably decades to come.
The installation process was first rate by Josh and his crew

I waited just over six months before posting a review. Back in October 2019 our power was shut off by SDGE for two days and I lost quite a bit of frozen food. Wanted to figure out a solution to prevent future incidents as we live in a "fire danger" area and our subject to future blackouts. I talked with Nicole Laco at Semper Solaris at the beginning of January, and by the end of March I was up and running with 20 solar panels, and two Tesla batteries to prevent any future problems.
Six months in, system is working beyond my expectations. We won't be spending a dime to SDGE

My initial contact with Semper Solaris was with the sales representative Rhami. He was very professional and knowledgeable. When I had a question about the plans, he got back to me right away. I received an email explaining the time line of the steps. I was surprised that everything was completed a lot faster than initially explained. The two installers were helpful and courteous. Due to the mandatory black outs SDGE imposed on us we were without power several times with the longest outage lasting 3 days. A friend of ours who also experienced outages told us about Semper Solaris and how they were helping him with Tesla batteries.
