Nearly every citizen of Christian County is touched by our office in one way or another. I advise the Fiscal Court on important legal issues facing our County. Our staff prosecutes all traffic offenses that occur here, including serious offenses such as DUI. We also prosecute all misdemeanor cases that occur in Christian Circuit Court, in addition to participating in the prosecution of the early stages of felony prosecution.
We administer a cold check and traffic safety program, collect delinquent taxes, assist victims of domestic violence and other crimes, assist in guardianship and mental health cases and help parents collect the support due to their families. As you can see, it's a busy place around here. I hope you find this site helpful.

Each year merchants lose millions of dollars due to receiving bad checks. Over 8,000 bad checks are written per day in Kentucky. This loss to businesses pushes the cost of goods and services higher. Make no mistake, writing a worthless check is a crime. In an effort to address this problem, the Christian County Attorney's Office administers a cold check program.
The Christian County Attorney's Office has entered into an agreement with the Department of Revenue to assist in the collection of delinquent taxes. After property tax bills become delinquent and are transferred from the Sheriff to the County Clerk they become certificates of delinquency and are submitted to our office for collection.
Many victims of crime feel both overwhelmed and overlooked with their experience in court. It can appear the defendants have all the rights and the victims have none. In order to address this problem, the Christian County Attorney's Office employs a full time victim advocate and domestic violence prosecutor.
The Christian County Attorney Shoplifting Diversion Program may allow your shoplifting/theft case to be dismissed upon successful completion of the program. The program is designed to educate viewers on the impact of theft in society and exposes the rationalizations offenders make to justify their actions.
