We are a family-owned restaurant specializing in pizzas and Italian-American cuisine. In 1979, the Evenson family purchased an old truck garage in Dresser, WI. After steam cleaning to remove layers of diesel oil and grease from the building, we converted the facility into our first restaurant. In 1996, we expanded again, this time opening a second restaurant in Amery, WI, which had been a longtime grocery store.
Johannes VanderBent, who started out as a dishwasher in 1986, bought the Dresser restaurant along with his wife Sara in 2006, and they continue as the current owners. In 2012, we expanded once again and purchased the original Hudson, WI post office and renovated it into our newest venture, "The Postmark Grille."

At Village Pizzeria Of Amery, we know how a good burger is supposed to taste. You can select from a variety of hamburgers that range from classic to California burgers with lettuce, tomato, Mayo, American Cheese, and green olives. All of our Burgers are 6 ounces of certified Hereford Beef, ground fresh daily.
You don't know what you're missing if you've never had a spicy Italian melt sandwich with peppers, cheese, and a variety of cold cuts. This, and many other similar sandwiches, are prepared fresh daily at Village Pizzeria Of Amery. Includes your choice of Hot Chips, House French Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, Hash Browns, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Baked Potato, Small Side Salad, or Cup of Soup (additional charge for Chowder or Chili).
From top sirloin steak to pork chops and seafood, Village Pizzeria Of Amery makes them all like no one else does. We put that touch of Italian culinary expertise and many years of experience into every dish we prepare. Dinners include unlimited Garden Salad or Soup and Bread, as well as your choice of French Fries, Hot Chips, Sweet Potato Fries, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Baked Potato, Hash Browns, Spaghetti, or Vegetable.

I was in the restaurant business for 20 years and couldn't believe how management handled our situation tonight. My "dago" was extremely over cooked and horrible. Server didn't come over to check on us untill my kids were all finished eating. She asked if I wanted something different. I said no because my kids are finished eating and reading to go. Management told the server to tell me sorry there was nothing they could do about it. What?? So you want me to pay for something I didn't eat? I asked to speak with the manager directly. She came over with an attitude and was like five I'll take off
