We have expertise in all types of rail vehicle trucks - light rail transit, heavy rail transit, commuter rail, freight cars and locomotives. A significant area of expertise possessed by RESCO, and by very few others, is that of steered truck design.
In steered trucks the axles are moved relative to the truck frame in such a manner as to be perfectly aligned with the local track curvature. The movement is brought about by a mechanism that detects the curvature of the track and 'forces' the axles into correct alignment.

The company began life with the objective of providing consulting services in the area of rail vehicle dynamics. Very early in our development, however, it became clear that many clients needed 'turnkey' solutions to their rail vehicle problems. We soon began to develop the capability of providing such a service.
