Dr. Kevon Owen is an experienced Christian Counselor and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with experience in inpatient and outpatient care and a history of working in the mental health care industry. Kevon is skilled in Christian Counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for adults, children, and adolescents Therapy.
Yes, I am taking new patients. I am a Christian prescriber who believes in a wholistic approach to treating. You are a mind spirit and body and all of them were created to work together. I love getting to work with patients and therapist to help you reach your most healthy and thriving self. Too many times it feels like medicine and faith are at odds, but they are not and don't have to be.
Jack is a Christian Counselor and Clinical Psychotherapist. He is also a Licensed Professional Counselor. He enjoys working with couples and individuals of all ages from children to senior adults. Jack Smith has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Ethics, and a master's degree in Counseling, both from Mid America Christian University, in Oklahoma City.
Life can be difficult. Whether it's everyday stress, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, or any other emotion negatively impacting your life and mental health. It can be difficult to navigate the ups and downs of life. Creating and maintaining relationships can feel overwhelming and scary. Sometimes you may need help finding your way through the experiences and circumstances that life throws your way.
The short answer to this is yes, what we talk about will be kept confidential. This is one of the main reasons people talk to a counselor. If you wanted to discuss things with the people of your life, you can do that but its not my place. In fact, there are laws that protect your confidentiality. However, the longer side of this does include some limitations to confidentiality.

There are a few people you meet in life that make you feel like you are a better person for knowing them. Kevon is one of those people. He is Christ-minded and pours himself into those he comes into contact with. He engages you and helps guide you to a new perspective that sometimes is very tough to see when you feel like you are in the weeds. I highly recommend the services he provides!

Kevon is an incredible source of wisdom. He has consistently offered a new perspective from which to view the trials I've experienced in my life. I think the thing that Kevon is best at is guiding people to truth, but letting them find it for themselves. It's easy to give advice; Kevon helps guide people to the wisdom they need, based in Biblical principles. I don't know how to describe it better than that. He asks tough questions that make one think about what God wants for their lives, what they want themselves, and what are the healthy ways to achieve God's best for our lives.

Kevon Owen is a great Godly man and counselor. He counseled me through a very rough divorce and has guided me through a job transition. I have never once wondered if he cared, because Kevon makes a point to let you know he genuinely cares about your health and well being. I recommend Kevon with any issue, large or small.
