My Mother lived at Harvy's Home Care for almost two years. It is a lovely clean home with beautiful gardens in a quiet neighborhood. The caregivers were wonderful and very attentive to her needs. The owners were on site frequently and always asked what they could do to make my Mother comfortable such as preparing foods she preferred. My Mother's Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren were always welcome and we enjoyed nice visits out on the patio. We also shared the Holidays with the other residents and their families which made it a special time as we supported each other.

Clean, welcoming, organized and a lovely setting. I visited this home while looking for a place for my mother. I was EXTREMELY impressed with how warm and inviting it is. Plus it is very clean. I have looked at several homes and this was by far the top home of ALL that I had seen. A plus to this home is that the Owner's wife (I guess she is the co-owner) is a registered nurse and she is also a director at a large facility care home, so she brings her expertise and care to the home as well. I would highly recommend checking out this home.

My brother was in this facility a short time. In addition to the turnover, aides were not properly trained, and did not administer medication as prescribed. Although it is a lovely setting, the care is substandard. In addition the owner has refused to give a receipt for the $5,500 paid to him, nor has he responded to numerous requests from the insurance company for information regarding my brothers stay. This is causing reimbursement problems.

My Mother has been at Harvy's Home Care ( A board and care facility in south San Jose) for about 8 weeks. We have been very pleased. The owners and on site care givers are very kind and concerned. They always have the guest's best interest at heart and do everything they can to make this a home like, welcoming place. The house is well run but also flexible according to the family's needs. For instance, they welcomed my grandson and his girlfriend, after the usual visiting hours, when they came to see my mother all dressed up for their Junior Prom. They also helped my mother

As a "Boomer" I am seeing the effects that longer living has on us and those around us. I have researched, extensively, different care homes for my loved ones. First my father needed a Memory Care Facility, then my mom broke her hip and needed rehab and then, after rehab, in-home care givers, and lastly my mother-in-law got to the point where she could no longer live alone.
