The mole or growth is Asymmetrical so that one side is not the same shape as the other side. Both Dr. Lamerson, M.D. and Dr. Galia Meiri, M.D. completed advanced pediatric dermatology training during residency and have over 30 years of experience between them treating patients of all ages.
Mohs Micrographic Surgery is a specialized, highly effective technique used to remove skin cancers that are highly aggressive or that occur on the face, ears, scalp, or arms. It differs from other skin cancer treatments like excisions because it ensures the most immediate and complete microscopic examination of the removed cancerous tissue.

Nevada Center for Dermatology has amazing service and physicians. The collapen made a big difference in my acne scarring as well as chemical peels. Additionally, acne medication has made a big difference in my acne and I feel much more confident. Dr. Lamerson, Dr. Meiri, and Ashley Vazeen are all very kind, patient, and thorough. Everyone can have a different experience, but this is just my own personal experience and opinion. I’m a new patient to this office so I went in the see Dr. Ashley Vazeen to start my accutane treatment. I waited for a whole hour in the waiting area and when it finally came to my appointment she was with me for ten mins going in and out of the room. That to me is not very inviting to ask any questions I had or talk with her and really feel heard.

Do NOT go here for Botox! Do NOT trust them with your face! Super expensive and NOT at all precise with their injections!! ASHLEY was Incredibly arrogant and very unprofessional when I came back to have her fix a heavy eyelid problem SHE created by injecting too much in my forehead and not enough to manage my heavy frown lines between my eyes, which cost me $500!! Ashley had trouble acknowledging the issue and wanted to quibble about number of units used and unit cost, saying she'd given me "a deal," as they usually charge $615! Nope! My primary care physician referred me here after trying to resolve my atopic dermatitis for many months without luck. I have never had any skin problems so this was a new experience for me. Ashley Vazeen is AMAZING! I called to make appointments for my husband and I. We were able to get two 15-minute slots back to back. First off all, we arrived early and expected to wait in our vehicle. No - they got us in immediately. Secondly, I thought we were there for consults - I had a lump on my face and my husband had a wart that was bothering him. I went in with major acne concerns, I ended up seeing Ashley Vazeen. She asked me to take off my mask to inspect my skin, this wasn't an issue. What was an issue is that she only looked at my skin for maybe 2 seconds before she took off her own mask, a couple inches from my face! I was completely bombarded and shocked!

It's hard enough to get into a dermatologist anywhere that will see you soon usually have to wait few weeks or months, tho I'm happy they got us in I'm upset that you would send me 2 reminder messages saying my appointment is at 8 am then I get there at 8 am and you say I have a 8:30 and doctor isn't in when clearly my messages say 8 am maybe get your scheduling personal fixed or the messages you decide to send out to confirm fixed

I saw Dr. Casse for about a year and a half. She and the staff there are very nice and friendly. The office is very clean and well lit. At first my overall experience was very positive. I was going to see her because I was having trouble with my eczema and acne. She prescribed me a shampoo that helped a lot with the eczema. I came back twice to see if we could do something about the acne. Both times she prescribed me medications that were not on my insurance and would cost more than $200. Honestly, Dr. is awesome but I'm only giving one star because no matter how many times I have called I can never get ahold of a medical assistant. I end up having to leave a voicemail. Every. Time. This would not be a problem if it wasn't for the fact that my calls are never returned even though their voicemail promises a response within 24 hours. $210 for an awful 20 minute consult! I went in for help with my dehyrated skin that was also breaking out. I expressed my concerns to the nurse practitioner, Ashley. She was kind enough to inspect my skin. She told another young lady in the room all the products she recommended for me but never explained any to me. I told her over and over that I cannot use drying products or my skin gets worse. I find out they want me to buy 7 products (4 of which are medical grade harsh acne products) that I can't even return?? Thank goodness the lady at the front desk gave me samples instead. In the end

The moment I walked in to this beautiful office I was greeted with a smile and professionalism from the staff. Dr. Casse is wonderful and is extremely knowledgeable and personable. Dr. Casse and her staff are top notch! Both my husband and I have been coming here for years.... and it is the best office in Reno. Dr Casse gives the most thorough and informative skin exam I have ever had. If your dermatologist is not checking your scalp or under your tongue, then it's time to switch to Dr Casse! For the reviewers that complain about timeliness, there is a clipboard right at the front to let you know if any provider is running behind. Sometimes, things happen beyond their control and I love that you get a heads up if that is the case.

So far they don't seem have listened to my symptoms. I had tiny oily itchy blisters that later opened, dried out and cracked creating a painful stinging sensation that makes it difficult to focus. They seem to be suggesting by their treatment that the dry skin came first. Which would be a totally false statement. Simply getting rid of a patch of dry skin has brought the horribly itchy blisters back before... Hopefully they have something better to offer... It won't be soon enough... But I'm rather worried...

I have a family history of skin cancer so I went in for a couple moles that I wanted checked. I literally waited months for this appointment and I was so horrified by my experience that I will never return. I saw the rude nurse practitioner Ashley who was less concerned about my moles and my questions and more concerned with my "acne problem" after seeing a pimple on me at my visit. I'm 31 and very rarely get pimples, so this wasn't a concern of mine or a reason for my visit. I didn't even ask about acne, but she very abrasively demanded to know what I planned on doing

I went in a month ago to discuss my aging skin. They were late getting me in. About a half hour. Super nice people though. Instead of talking with me they had me undress completely and then inspected my skin from head to toe. Two areas of concern came up but they discussed nothing with me. I have been a patient of Dr. Lamerson's for almost 10 years. I have always had great experiences with their office. The office is very well managed, wait times are appropriate and the staff upfront can get you in quite quickly for emergency appointments.

The Doctors are decent and friendly but not too proactive in treating my Daughters acne. We have been going for nearly a year now with minimal results.
Don't even try to change your appointment as the office staff is no help and not accommodating at all. They don't have a cancellation list to notify you if someone has cancelled. I called to try to get my appointment moved to the following week as we would be out of town on the day of the appointment. "OK, we're booking the second and third week of August right now" It's only the 11th of June! "Sorry, we're very busy"
