I visited because I just bought a house that I am working on furnishing. The thing I liked was their great prices but they have back-orders and very few items in stock. I was told it was going to take 6-8 weeks for my couch to arrive. The customer service rep was friendly but a little overbearing. Sometimes you just want to browse and see what they have but the salesman was a little pushy and insisted on showing me exactly what I was looking for. Finally, I had to tell him I just want to look around by myself.

Can I give them a MINUS 4 stars? That's what they earned. John, the salesman who sold me a mattress/box springs LIED about "white glove" delivery (set up of the new stuff, removal of the old) being included in the price, about the $100 mattress cover I was buying being a BAG...NOPE, just a souped-up fitted sheet with padding. I found out they'd scheduled me for a dump-and-run delivery when I had called them to check on scheduling (after they'd reopened deliveries after COVID-19 restrictions, which were not their fault, I get it). They said they could do the white glove

We purchased a sofa and loveseat 2 years ago from here. Ashley furniture by the way. That is important to know. Furniture only warranted for a year. Their 5 year Protection plan is not warranty protection. Wasted my money there. The leg was repaired as requested, but the degradation of the furniture in general is not covered and therefore deemed non refundable or returnable. Neither the store nor Ashley furniture stand behind their products as far as a quality issue. Their regard for customer satisfaction doesn

We were trying to decide between a sofa & a sectional, and Rhea (pronounced R-ay) was so incredibly helpful! We didn't even up buying there (but it was close, we went back to the store twice) so I can't talk on the purchasing experience, but I would go back there in a heartbeat because of the wonderful customer service he provided.

After all of the negative reviews, I almost didn't even bother to stop in, but I'm glad we did.
I don't remember the day of the week we stopped in, but it wasn't the weekend, so no crowds or difficulty parking. Our salesperson was helpful, but not annoying. He left us alone but checked in here and there to make sure we were ok.
I had to furnish an entire house and was looking for nice items, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I got a livingroom set and bedroom set within my price range. They both look wonderful and the delivery guys were very professional

Terrible customer service!!! I bought a chair 7 months ago and it's ripping all around the edge. Even though I'm within the 1 year warranty- they stated it was due to rubbing of the fabric. Well even if I brushed by the back of the chair every single day (which I did not) for seven months- the chair should not be that poor of quality!! Do not buy from there! When I contacted customer service DAWN was not helpful and stated she could send someone the next day and then realized she couldn't actually send someone and I would have to wait for someone to come out and view the product

I am very pleased with the selection, service, and delivery that I received from furniture deals in Overland Park. My salesperson, Brent, was very helpful and not pushy at all. I purchased a couch and love seat and wanted to stay under $1200. I had plenty of options within my price range. The delivery arrived slightly earlier than expected so I had to contact the company and let them know that I would arrive at my apartment about 5 minutes later than the delivery truck, since I wasn't home when I received the call stating that my delivery was on its way. I purchased a cocktail table and endtable through this company. When delivered, the cocktail table was damaged in many places. It's been 3 weeks and an ongoing battle with no results for the return of this product. I'd give thenm 0 stars if I could! I am giving them one more week before I dispute the charges through American Express. COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED with this company.
***Update*** I changed by review from 1 star to 3. They finally returned my call. And, I have to say, once they did, they fixed the situation. I am receiving a full refund. They apologized for taking so long

I've been here 3 times in the last 5 years as I've made the transition from the last of my college furniture to "grown-up" furniture (with "grown-up" prices). This place must be a boiler-room because each time I've had help over the years it has been with a different person. The last person I worked with is never there and my sense is people come in, churn, burn, and get out. In any case, it doesn't affect your experience.
