I'm a Colorado native and a mom of two boys. I attended DeVry University to get my bachelor's in business with a concentration on sales and marketing. While in school I realized I had interest in orthodontics and decided to pursue it, so I attended Pima Medical. With over 10 years of experience, being able to see the smile on patients' faces once they are done with their treatment is the best result!
Dr. Brandon Scheer was born in Wichita, Kansas, where he comes from a long family tradition of practicing dentistry. His great-grandfather, Dr. George W. Scheer, moved to Wichita in 1918 and started a dental practice. That practice was then passed down to his son, Dr. Harold Scheer, who practiced dentistry there until he retired and passed the practice on to his son, Dr. Brick Scheer.
When you walk into our Thornton orthodontics office for your first dental visit, you'll receive a warm welcome from our friendly team and we know you'll feel right at home. We value your time, which is why we keep wait times to a minimum. We'll show you around our office and then a team member will take photos and digital x-rays, if necessary.
Our orthodontist, Dr. Brandon Scheer, and the team at Shine Orthodontics offer traditional braces in Thornton, Colorado to straighten your teeth and give you a smile you love! Traditional metal braces have been around for a long time and are still the most commonly used orthodontic treatment option to align teeth and correct bites.
While the metal braces we use at our practice are smaller and more streamlined than ever before, we understand that not everyone wants their orthodontic treatment to be obvious. That's why one of our most popular types of braces for adults and older teens are clear braces. Clear braces, or ceramic braces, work just like metal braces but they're much less noticeable.

Dr Sheer and his entire t am are absolutely amazing. I took my daughter who is 8 years old there and they took great care of her put her braces on explained the process, maintenance, and care and made her feel so comfortable. I am really glad I chose an amazing place to take good care of my little lady!! I highly recommend them and will definitely refer family and friends!

I took my sister to this practice for her expanders and they are so welcoming and amazing team. My sister liked Dr sheer from the first time she met him and said that he made her feel safe he is always amazing with her. she also liked Ruth one of the assistants there she helped her calm down and was so professional and helpful with giving her some tips on how to clean and take care of her oral health.
