He graduated in 2016 with his Masters of Science in Dentistry with a certificate in Orthodontic and Craniofacial Orthopedics. Besides knowing his stuff, Dr. K is madly skilled at skiing.

Orthodontic treatment is becoming more and more popular among adults. Because of advancement in orthodontic care, there are orthodontic appliances that are more discrete than ever, allowing adults to achieve perfect smiles without the embarrassment of traditional metal braces. As long as you have healthy teeth, there's no age limit to straightening them.
The American Association of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that each child receive an orthodontic consultation by the age of 7. By this age, your child's mouth is developed enough that Dr. Kuhni can determine how it will continue to develop as the adult teeth emerge. Early detection of certain orthodontic conditions can make them much easier to treat.
In contrast to traditional braces, Damon brackets are self-ligating. This means that the brackets hold the wires in place themselves, without the use of the color elastic o-rings. Damon brackets allow the teeth to move into the correct position with less pressure and discomfort. Using memory wires that apply subtle and consistent pressure to the teeth move teeth into their optimal position.

Dr. Kuhni and staff are the people in your life that make the days brighter! We are always greeted with a smile, and you know that they go above and beyond to make your visit exceptional! We love the staff, and have become friends with many of them. Dr Kuhni is an amazing orthodontist! I always recommend their office to my friends and family!

Everyone is so kind, professional and capable. Beautiful clean office. My 8 year old son recently had braces put on and Macy was so patient and took extra time with him to make sure he was comfortable and this really helped reduce his anxiety. Dr Kuhni is friendly, knowledgeable and very detail oriented which is exactly what you want in an orthodontist. Would not hesitate to recommend this place and doctor to all my friends and family.

We were referred over to Dr Kuhni by our dentist. It was a wonderful presentation at our consultation. We had many question since my daughter is the first one to need braces. They were willing to answer any and all questions we had. I love that he talks with my daughter and encourages her to ask questions so she is comfortable. I appreciated that they were willing to workout payment plans for her treatment since we had no idea this was in her future. We have loved our experience so far and we are so excited to see the end results.

I have had such an amazing experience at Kuhni Orthodontic Studio! Every member of the staff is so professional and friendly. They remember guests by name and make everyone feel important. Dr. Kuhni goes above and beyond to make sure that I am understanding every part of my treatment and always checks if I have any questions about anything. Getting braces as an adult was intimidating, but Dr. Kuhni and his staff have made my whole experience amazing!! I actually am bummed that my treatment will be ending soon because then I won't see them as much!! I would recommend them to anyone considering orthodontic

Hands down THE BEST Orthodontic office around! My daughter and I both got braces at the same time and we were both pretty nervous. They have made every step so calm and smooth! They went above and beyond to make my daughter feel safe when getting them on at first and for a few months after! She absolutely loves them all now and actually LIKES going in for appointments because of the way they make her feel! Besides all the amazing staff, Dr. Kuhni’s knowledge and patience is incredible!
