Services
Dr. Thomas received a Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah. He graduated near the top of his class with his dental degree at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He then finished his orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado. Dr. Thomas enjoys yardwork (really!), riding bikes with his family, the great outdoors, crossfit and running.
Similar in appearance to traditional braces, In-Ovation braces are self-ligating. This means that instead of using colored elastics to hold the wire in place, there are tiny metal doors on each bracket. Because these doors don't lose hold on the wire, like the elastic ties do, appointments can often be spaced further apart, meaning less visits to the orthodontic office.
The Clear Aligner Therapy System involves having a series of clear aligners made to fit over the patient's teeth that gradually get adjusted to move the teeth into perfect alignment. A computer program generating a simulation determines the fit. Adult patients that have particular orthodontic bite issues can benefit from this system.
