B&J Motors opened its doors in 1961. Founded by Bill Zumwalt, Jack White, and Bud Tracy, B&J was originally located on Folsom Blvd. Rick and Steve built the business on the principles of outstanding service, best-in-industry quality repairs, and fair prices all performed and provided by quality employees.
Depending on the severity of the damage to your car, paintless dent repair (PDR) is an option for minor dings and dents. Normally, when the damage is extensive, we do a full repair job. We have to tear the area to be repaired down, remove parts, trim, break into the paint and more. Many parts on cars are now "one-use" installs - meaning, they are meant to be installed once.
We can get you started with our "contactless process" if you have access to a smartphone and the ability to take pictures of the vehicle. Fill out the form and we will send you a text that will walk you through the process to start your preliminary estimate. After you fill out all the information, we will get into contact with you and let you know what the next steps are!
I was rear ended twice in a matter of 5 months and I had all of the damages assessed and fixed at B&J Body Shop. My experience with this shop was hands down the best experience I have had at an auto body shop. Sal was extremely helpful and thoughtful when working through the insurance details and the office staff was always professional and friendly.
We do not charge for estimates on vehicles that are potentially going to be repaired at B&J Body Shop. If you need a document for a legal matter or to make a settlement with another party, then we may charge a nominal fee for these services. An appointment is not required for an estimate. We do encourage you to call ahead and schedule your estimate to minimize your wait time; but walk-ins are always welcome.

I highly recommend using this shop. They were professional and even helped deal with my insurance company who was being difficult. The quality of the work there surpasses any other shop I've used in the past. I didn't have to come back to get anything fixed or touched up. They also kept me up to date with any changes in parts shipments (just due to the current shortages/shipping problems). Everyone was very friendly from drop-off to pick-up. My car is back to being brand new. Thank you, everyone!

My mechanic suggested only one place for body work on my car after it was rear ended. He said go to B and J.
I feel so lost in all if this and Sal walked me through everything--from a quick look over, all the way through picking up the repaired car.
Can I just say that my insurance company just sort of threw me to the wolves. Sal was immensely more helpful than my own insurance company in walking me through the process of what to expect and how to get it all done.

I visited B & J because I had been there previously -- a few year ago. After getting an estimate, I drove directly to another shop, hoping that it wouldn't be lower than B & J causing a dilemma -- "(since I was paying out of pocket) do I go with B & J who I trust or the Other Guy, who is cheaper?" However, the estimate from the Other Guy came in a nearly twice the estimate that I received from B & J. That made my decision so much easier. Great experience. Very trustworthy.

I brought my car in because some someone backed into me. They did an amazing job. I left after getting my car and thought a tech had left a tool after seeing something fly out the back of my car and put a hole in my tire. They told me to bring in my car and they will check it out. They put it on a lift and showed me where what ever it was i ran over hit and could tell I had bad luck and ran over something right after I got it back.
