My friend and I used Events West for their Trolley on wheels to celebrate our birthdays with our friends. Best decision ever!! I'm honestly so happy with how everything turned out and our friends had such a good time. I got to play my playlist on their Bluetooth speaker they have set up in the trolley and it was amazingly loud and would catch people's attentions in the streets and they would wave at us. Ed the driver was super sweet and gave me several suggested routes. I went with his preference since I had no idea.

Ben and the Events West Team were the highlight of my husband's surprise 30th birthday celebration. We had an absolute blast riding around SF, bar and club hopping, and jamming out on the trolley. It's the perfect recipe for an epic night: 40 friends swagged out in 1920's attire riding around on a party trolley with OPEN BAR ON BOARD! Our crew (Ed - best driver, Stephen - great host/organizer, Rhonda - amazing bartender) was so friendly and made sure we had a great time. The sound system on the trolley is great quality too! And I can't believe we fit all 40 people on the trolley

This was an awful experience trying to book through them to only have them pull out at the last minute after everything was agreed on and I was ready to sign the contracts. When I called Ben, who stepped in at the last min and apparently owns the company, he was so rude and I've never experienced such an awful customer experience with his condescending tone.
Customer service is clearly not a priority to them and I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere! The conversation

We hired a cable car for our wedding in Livermore. The booking agent was a little concerned about having the cable car go all the way out to Livermore, but for a little extra charge he decided it would be OK.

We used Events West for a trolley tour for our wedding reception. We had a small wedding and were able to include everyone on the tour. The tour was great! It was very straightforward. We arranged everything beforehand over phone and email. We originally wanted the Karaoke tour, but that has been discontinued due to SF noise ordinance. We went with a bar service instead and provided our own music playlist. The driver was EXCELLENT! We checked in with him briefly before the tour started and he helped set up the perfect route for us. I rented the Trolley for my 26th Birthday this last weekend and everyone that attended said that it was the best birthday celebration they've been to in years...if not ever!
The staff was absolutely amazing:
Natasha was the coordinator who made everything a very seamless process. Their response time is amazing and they were able to book us and get everything processed very quickly!
Dori was our host and was very sweet and kept making sure I was having a good time! They were very patient with all of my intoxicated friends and were extremely helpful in making sure everyone was enjoying themselves

If you're looking for a memorable 'SF' activity, I assure you, there's nothing more 'SF' than cruising around the city in a trolley. The open bar on board does not hurt either!

Just used this company for our wedding, renting out a trolley car! They were so easy to work with and very friendly. They were right on time with pickup. Iv had some bad limo experience so it was a breath of fresh air having someone on time and friendly picking us up! The motorized trolley car was such a blast. Hands down a memory my husband and I, family and friends won't forget. It was the perfect tough to our wedding. I've never written a bad review on Yelp, but my poor experience with Events West was enough to push me to my first. I would never use this service again, and would definitely not recommend it to anyone else.
The main reason my organization chose Events West is because they offered wi-fi on the motor coaches. We used Events West to rent a trolley bus for between our wedding and our reception. We had a small wedding, so all of our guests as well as our photographer were able to ride. I would HIGHLY recommend using Events West.
1) Amazing driver. Totally unique and personable. I forgot his name but he was a huge hit with our guests! He should get a kudos from management.
2) Ben who worked with us to book the trolley was so responsive. He was great to work with!
3) On time and took us to fabulous sites per request for our photographs.
4) We were able to hook-up our iPhone to have our own playlist

Wedding "after party" on the Trolly was amazing! The driver was so cool great sense of humor and the coordinator that rode with us was very tolerant, we have a tough crowd to manage and he was very polite and never once lost his composer.... A huge accomplishment!!! Bartender was Rhonda and awesome as well. Great experience had a blast!!

Back in 2010 I was looking to do something a little bit different for my annual Flag Day party. I had just moved to San Francisco, so I thought a cable car pub crawl would be the perfect event. A Google search provided me with a number of cable car rental options, and I called every single one. Events West won me over because they had the best price and I was able to customize the bar on our cable car to include American Beer. Ben specifically was super helpful in helping me plan the pub crawl route (again, I was new to the city, so this was crucial and definitely above and beyond).

Wow i just had a really strange conversation with Benjamin. He called me apologized about not getting back to me. Then mentions my yelp review stating, "the bad reviews are just the issues that occurs with many cable car/rental services." Then he inquires about if I was going with Classic Cable cars (his competition) and starts bad mouthing them. I explained to him how unethical this was, and that I don't feel comfortable with this AWKWARD conversation.

I booked the motorized trolly for my wife's 30th birthday party this past weekend. We had 30 people attend and it was an absolute blast! The Events West folks were amazing to work with and helped us put together an incredible evening.
Ben was incredibly responsive and was kind enough to help me customize our alcohol selection using their pre-set packages as a base. That helped since everyone had particular favorites they wanted to see.

I rented a trolley for 4 hours on my wedding day to take pictures before the ceremony and transport my guests from their hotels to the venue. We were really looking forward to riding the trolley with the wedding party and getting pictures on the trolley and at the Palace of Fine Arts. I provided a detailed timeline to Events West that indicated we were on a tight schedule. The wedding party had 2 hours to take pictures before we needed to be at the wedding venue. The trolley was then supposed to pick up guests for the remaining rental period.

Ben helped me with my 25th bday trolley party. My friends still talk about that amazing party until today. It's was so amazing having a trolley drive you arond to different venues and even have a bartender on the trolley and playing loud music too! It was quite an entrance and exit. 20 boys and 20 girls partying together made quite the 25th birthday =) Nothing went wrong this night at all. First my wedding: I was intent on doing the touristy trolley cars to get my guest from downtown to Sutro Heights Park and Events West definitely had the cheapest rate. The cars were exactly what I hoped for... Authentic looking and clean. The drivers were great and even took us for a little tour because we were on time. It was great and everyone had a blast! Then I rented a bus to taxi guests back to their hotels. Again the driver was really nice and the bus was clean but somehow the last driver got lost

Thirty-five of us rented a trolley bus from them and bar hopped throughout the city. It was the very last time for this company that they allowed unsupervised on-board alcohol (because of insurance).
Service was terrific, from Ben in the office, to the driver. Costs were reasonable too.
