Our associate, Dr. Sarah Thomas, joined A Way of Life Acupuncture in 2020. She is a Florida licensed Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Physician with the highest level of board certification granted by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

I have been coming for two weeks now for acupuncture. My overall body is feeling better and I get less stressed at work and in traffic. Dr Sarah is so caring and knowledgeable, she takes time to explain treatments, she is very detailed and I appreciate it. I am very impressed so far with everything. I have been going to A Way of Life Acupuncture for several years. I first went there to treat pain in my left arm that was caused by an injury. After that I went for my lower back pain, and to relieve stress. I found Dr. Christine to be very knowledgeable. I’ve been a patient of Dr Christine Yastrzemski and she is treating me for digestive issues. She has come up with a treatment plan that has given me relief and my issues have improved considerably. My first visit was just a week ago with debilitating pain in my neck. Not only did they take me in the day I called to try to help, but after just one week, and two visits, I have improved dramatically. I received a referral from my primary care doctor as I am suffering with carpal tunnel syndrome. I was impresses not only with the facility but on my first visit Dr. Yastrzemski explained exactly what she was going to do to help me, putting me at ease. She is gentle and I was totally relaxed during the acupuncture.
I was amazed that after the first treatment my hand feels better. so I am looking forward to my next treatment.
I highly recommend Dr. Yastrzemski, she is the best acupuncturist I have ever been too.

Christine and her team are amazing!! I’ve been going for monthly treatments with Christine for several years & each time I leave I feel exponentially better. She is patient in understanding how I’m feeling when I arrive and then tailors my treatment to address specific areas based on that assessment. I had heard it was a helpful treatment for chronic arthritis.
Dr.Sarah Thomas was so kind and explained each of the treatments and a health plan to fit my needs.
There was no pain, and I honestly felt better when I left,
There was no pressure to add more treatments than were necessary, or to buy products.
This was my first visit, but it will not be my last.

Dr Sarah is amazing. I initially accompanied my daughter there for her initial appointment and was so impressed. The staff is very inviting, the environment is serene and very calming. Dr Sarah was very attentive and provided answers to all of our questions. Even though their office does not accept insurance, I was so impressed that I decided to schedule an appointment and pay out of pocket.

I was in a bicycle accident and hit a wall with my left shoulder. Nothing broken, however, I had severe soft tissue trauma with intense swelling. My pain was a 9 to10 for over a week. Dr. Sarah put eyes on my injury at the Wellness Expo and said she could help me. That same day, on a Saturday, she meet me at 5:00 pm and gave me a… Traumeel/Zeel injection in 4 sites. I am now a more manageable pain of 2 and the swelling significantly improved with joint mobility movement without crying. I am on my way to healing. I highly recommend anyone injured or wanting to improve the quality

I couldn’t sleep last night and had a terrible migraine. I called the office and Dr. Sarah answered and told me see could see me around 5pm. I went through the motions of the rest of the day in pain. And gladly went over to see her. My migraine is gone along with the sciatica pain in my leg and I got a good sleep for an hour. Dr. Sarah is a miracle worker!

Dr. Christine Yastrzemski and her fellow acupuncture physicians are incredible. Their work and results are exemplary! Her reputation is recognized throughout the City of Jacksonville, the Beaches area, and beyond. Her office is just across the street from the Mayo Hospital ER. She is accepted and certified to work in any medical facility in the… area and beyond. To date, I have worked with three previous acupuncturists, and Dr. Yas has been the best.
