I grew up in an area where BBQ was prevalent and you could just about get it everywhere from a gas station to a smoker set up on the side of the road on a Sunday afternoon. Here in Ukiah there are just not many choices of places local that have really good BBQ. Now I have found my place and love the food. The Pitmaster Aaron is just that, a master of the pit. The Tri Tip, the brisket and the pulled pork are all to die for. The seasonings are great and the sauce is just right. I even like his pineapple slaw and I do not normally like coleslaw. Aaron catered our pre wedding welcome dinner for about 100 people at a State Park near Mendocino. He came on time locked and loaded with two trailers. He did a great job preparing the food, setting up and the presentation for our guests was perfect. The food especially the Brisket was amazing and the compliments from the guest were flowing in. Mendocino BBQ is on point and I highly recommend them if you have an event coming up.

Mendocino BBQ is the best for catering any event!!! I had a wedding a couple weeks ago and I couldn't have asked for a better cater, not only is Aaron and his staff the nicest people you will ever meet, but the food was a HUGE hit, his famous brisket was to die for and the chicken was on point. He even did a vegetarian Mac n cheese along side one with bacon to accommodate my vegetarian guests and my love for bacon. The only complaint was my guests ate all the Mac n cheese so I didn't get left overs. Haha which is a good thing!! I absolutely recommend these guys! Great price, great food

We had Mendocino BBQ Catering cater for our wedding in May 2019 on the Mendocino Coast and were very happy with the food and their service. Aaron was very responsive and great to work with, the staff were friendly and helpful on the day of the wedding, and the food was fantastic! We had the tri-tip, chicken, bacon mac & cheese, roasted potatoes, green salad, Normandy vegetables, and bread rolls. Everybody loved it! The Tri-tip and bacon mac & cheese were fan favorites, and the chicken and roasted potatoes got lots of compliments. Everything was exactly what we wanted.

We used Mendocino BBQ for my husband's 50th birthday and was not disappointed--the food was soooo delicious! We had ribs and brisket, cooked to perfection! The meat fell off the bones of the ribs, and no knife required on the brisket! The sides of roasted potatoes and pineapple coleslaw were a perfect accompaniment. Everyone raved about the food. We did have lots of leftovers but only because I over ordered for the number of guests that cancelled at the last minute. If we ever do another big event in Mendo, we'll be sure to hire Aaron again!

I'm pretty picky when it comes to bbq, I like it just a certain way, so it's usually hard to find. But this is literally the best bbq I've ever had! It has everything I want and love about bbq. It's tender, it's sweet, it's salty, it's smokey. There was a "bbq sauce" that was on the ribs I had and it was out of this world! It was almost like a sweet and tangy jam. Nothing like I've experienced before, but I crave it every day now. I asked the owner about it and he said he's won blue ribbons with that sauce, I can understand why!

Mendocino barbecue catering business is one of the best barbecues I've ever eaten! They are on point they are scrumptious they are fabulous . the owner Aaron is extremely talented and thoughtful in the rubs and the sauces that he uses ,not only is the meat delicious but the side fixings are incredible.I will search out and look for this catering company where ever they go... I can't wait to see what they do in the future.
