Pilón Kitchen catered the welcome dinner for my wedding and they made the event so memorable! The food was seriously delicious, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the meal.
Working with Pilón Kitchen was a breeze throughout the whole process. Erick and Sauli were very responsive from day one, they helped us plan our menu, and they were so polite during the dinner.

I was looking for a food truck for my husband's 50th birthday, and I came across Pilón Kitchen. Erick & Sauli responded right away, and they were so kind and professional from the first email, through the event, and after. The food was SO good, and I loved the look of their truck. We were having a small party (only 18 people total), and they treated us as if we were planning a large event- prompt response times, answered all of my questions, and were just so friendly. I highly recommend them for any event!

I recently had the opportunity to taste and enjoy Pilon Kitchens wonderful food. I was totally unacquainted with Venezuelan cuisine but it has become something that I will seek out wherever I happen to be if most of it is anywhere near as good as that provided by Eric and Sauli. They are meticulous in their presentation, their attention to detail and everything about their service is absolutely wonderful, especially the absolutely delicious food. I look forward to being able to enjoy it again soon.

Pilón Kitchen catered my wedding in April 2021 and they were incredible to say the least! Sauli & Erick really took the extra time & attention to ensure our needs were met. They were exceptionally… communicative, flexible, professional, their food presentation was beautiful and the food itself was off the hook! To top it off, the wait staff were so patient, helped keep everything timely, and were super helpful. I highly recommend them & am so thankful we chose them!!

Pilon Kitchen catered my country side wedding this past weekend. They did an AMAZING job, getting food out on schedule and generally adding to the charm of the wedding with their adorable truck. Best of all the food was absolutely delicious. Guests could not stop raving about how tasty it was and were fighting over the yummy appetizers and empanadas. We, my wife and I , would like to thank you and your team for making our afternoon at the winery an enjoyable one with your EXCELLENT food. I'm not sure what they were called "Akepas"?, I'm not sure. One was stuffed with meat and the other with vegetables.
Anyway, thank you. We are Italian and have always enjoyed other countries cuisine. This was AMAZING!!!!

What a great food truck. The cheese option was a little too cheesy but everything else was great. I tried this at a winery and it was a classy truck that also does wineries. The service is excellent and high tech payment options make this a great choice for a vendor if you're the one looking to hire a food truck. So often they say cash only.

Erick and Sauli were amazing caterers. We hired them for a wedding on 3/30/19. First off, everyone was raving about the food. Everything was flavored perfectly. Service was seamless. They were able to complete dinner service for 80 people in around 50 minutes. Throughout the entire process they were great with communication. I strongly recommend if you need a caterer to give the Pilon Kitchen food truck a try.

We had Pilon Kitchen as the caterers for our wedding and we were satisfied with our choice. Our wedding was set in Mendocino Woodlands, which was relatively isolated for a wedding venue. Luckily, Pilon Kitchen was willing to drive out to cater.
Everyone truly enjoyed the food. The food was delicious! Our only drawback was that there wasn't enough, as the portions were relatively small. This could be a subjective thing and is why food tasting prior to booking is important so as to get a grasp of the portions. The food truck itself was really cute and presentable. Ran into this little Venezuelan food truck at the spring fair, the food did NOT disappoint, amazing empanadas and arepas, the food was very fresh, and unlike most food trucks that make you feel heavy after a meal, Pilón Kitchen did not do so. 10/10 now to chase the little green truck around. gracias Erick Y su esposa.

We have booked Pilón Kitchen two years in a row for our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. The food is always delicious and Erick and Sauli are very professional and friendly. Plus, the volunteers LOVE the food! We will definitely be asking them back for future events.

After scouring Mendocino and Sonoma for a caterer for our wedding (relatively last-minute and during a busy wedding season) we found the wonderful Erick and Saulí of Pilón kitchen. They were charming and warm to us and our guests, Serving the best arepas I have ever had! They created a basic catering plan to accommodate all our dietary needs: They… made the Caesar salad dressing vegetarian for us, offered a vegan arepa option. Many of our guests asked us how we found them, asked us if we would try to get the recipe for their amazing beans. Through it all they were very calm

Erick and Sauli were wonderful to work with for the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding. They literally went the extra mile for us going to the site in Philo to see what problems they might have getting their trailer into the venue in advance. They decided that the road was too difficult for their trailer so replanned the meal making use of the onsite kitchen.
Their food is delicious and unusual. The chimichurri sauce was fabulous and made all the wonderfully flavored food even better. They decorated the serving table with wedding decorations. We received many compliments about the food from
