The dental implant procedure involves having the implant post placed in the jaw. Dr. Giesy will place the implant himself to ensure it's in the ideal position for beauty and function. The post needs to heal and integrate with the jaw bone, which takes a few months. We have been seeing Dr Giesy for years and every time we have dental work done we leave happy! We love the staff and the care we receive from Dr Giesy! Today my son who has Downs Syndrome had a crown placed. He loves “Candace” who assisted Dr Giesy. Jimmy didn’t want to leave today... he loved being at the Dentist!

There are good things about this office and bad, but the bad is now outweighing the good.. My wife has been seeing Dr. Giesy for several years and loves her hygienist, and thinks the Dr is very caring and patient. The real problems for us are around the front desk and back office. There have been several billing irregularities over the years and they are always not to our favor. The front desk has insisted, quite forcefully, for example that some major procedures are paid in advance, that insurance will not cover them. I love Giesy Family Dentistry!!! When I came to them several years ago, I was terrified. Bad experiences with dental issues had left me so scared, I couldn’t even get my teeth cleaned without medication. The staff at Giesy changed all of that and really, changed my life. Their patience, compassion and respect was exemplary. I was in need of some… significant work and through it all, I gained my confidence back again. Today, I made it through my second cleaning without assistance. Yea!!! There’s no way I can ever thank the staff and Dr. Giesy enough. I recommend them to the moon

Warm cookies and hot coffee in the waiting area. Super comfy couches and chairs instead of uncomfortable low backs like in regular waiting areas! The staff is incredibly helpful and nice. I was seen quickly and the reason for my visit was remedied almost immediately-which usually never happens at the dentist.

I stumbled upon Dr. Giesy when I was in the neighborhood and made an appointment. Upon entering the offices I realized this was a super nice place. Beautiful furnishings, coffee, tea, cozy and Theresa (at the front desk) has to be one of the warmest, kindest people in her field! Amazing customer care! Beyond the luxury of the waiting area is a staff that put me first every time. I was treated like a princess! They know your name. I'm not a fan of going to the dentist due to horrible childhood experience.. Throughout my life I've avoided going to the dentist for regular cleaning and check ups. Until recently my wisdom teeth and cavities a couple other issues decided to arise all at once. First I went to the emergency dental by Tacoma mall. Dr Giesy did porcelain crowns on my 4 front teeth. 2 days after, the left side of my mouth was swollen & I was in severe pain. When I called his office I was told to put Orajel on my tooth. I kept insisting so instead of him seeing me again he sent me to one of his colleagues who then sent me to another colleague for an emergency root canal. The doctor had to slice the abscess in my mouth without anesthesia because I was told the infection could have gotten to my brain. 2 days ago while biting into a turkey sandwich my entire tooth fell out, the one he screwed up. Have been a patient since Dr. Giesy joined the practice with Dr. Luzzi so many years ago, and have stayed with him as he took over. Always get the best care. The latest treatment has been for sleep apnea, and my snoring has been reduced greatly and my sleep has improved greatly, also. So glad there was a fairly simple solution so as to not wear a c-pap at night.

My family has been getting their teeth taken care of by Dr Giesy and his staff for years. He is the best dentist I've ever been to. Everyone is very friendly and they do a great job with my family. I've had my wisdom teeth pulled, my husband has had filings replaced and my son has had to have a few teeth pulled because his body has a hard time letting go of teeth without getting an abscess. But, through all of our dental needs I've been confident in Dr Giesy. Our family is very grateful that he is our dentist.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Giesy for several years and have been extremely pleased with the care that he provides as well as his dental hygienist and a staff. We have had some really bad experiences with other dentists in the past. In fact my wife was told she had nine cavities from one dentist and when we asked Dr Giesy for a second opinion she told us she didn't have one cavity. Dr Giesy is kind caring and provides very professional service. And what dentist gives you fresh baked cookies after each visit!!!
