Founded in 2003, Papa Lee's BBQ Catering was created as a result of a long-time passion for making Southern BBQ that we soon discovered people love to eat! Papa Lee's trademark is BBQ that is tender, spicy, sweet and tasty - Southern style. We do Southern BBQ and California Fusion (healthy, hearty, tasty foods).
RSVPs are taken on a first come, first served basis with payment required for booking. You choose the menu and the venue; casual or elegant, simple or extravagant. We are happy to custom cater your next event so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy a great BBQ buffet. If you don't see something on our Menu, just ask.
You're in the right place for real-deal BBQ that's custom-made and not cookie-cutter. This is authentic, Southern-style Slow-Smoked BBQ where the best meats are hand-selected, seasoned with Papa Lee's custom dry-rub, slow-smoked and made with TLC. As you read through the menu, kick-off your shoes, relax and make your self comfortable.
Events are booked on a first come, first served basis with payment in advance to reserve the date. We are happy to work with you on the menu, the venue, party rentals and more. We do the work so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the BBQ and your event. We accept payment via PayPal. PayPal accepts Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover, and provides a safe, secure, fee-free way for you to pay online.
A "Pop-up Event" is where a local Bay Area winery, country club, restaurant, diner, cafe, deli, or coffee shop would host Papa Lee's and feature my authentic Southern BBQ. Alternately, I might host a pop-up at a local banquet hall. These events would be held in the evenings and/or on weekends and might occur once a year, once a quarter, once a month or more often.
