To begin the initial phase of your appointment, you will be taken back to the examination rooms by one of our highly trained ophthalmic technicians. Your technician will ask you questions pertaining to your medical history as well as questions about any current problems you may be experiencing with your eyes.

I am diabetic and have been having eye issues. My pcp said I need to see an ophthalmologist. I have bcbs and I know I don't need referrals with my insurance (I made sure). I called this office to schedule a diabetic eye exam with the ophthalmologist. The lady who answered the phone was rude and the tone of her voice was intimidating. She acted like she was annoyed with me wanting to see the ophthalmologist and kept trying to schedule me with the optometrist. My adult son accidentally broke his eyeglasses. We made an appointment for the next day. We arrived on time, but we waited a FULL hour for the eye doctor to show up.
That's ridiculous! I know it's not like an ER visit, my son wasn't bleeding to death or anything. But, it's unprofessional to schedule so many people at one time, or to lounge around between exams. Our time is as valuable as his!

This eye clinic is the worst. My grandmother has been a patient here for years and the staff are rude and unfriendly. They do their jobs I haven't noticed anything like that but they just come off as cold and rude especially when you contact them by phone. I just feel that for what they charge their staff should be better trained in matters of customer service or replaced. There shouldn't be people who have attitude problems representing a medical office in my opinion. I hope this review helps someone thinking of visiting this place.

Terrible service in the optical department. Took prescription bifocals back TWICE within a couple of weeks of getting them. They attempted to fix the progressive lens once, but 2nd time told me I would have to pay for it. Mind you, the first repair was for an error THEY made … and I was told "we ate the repair the first time" which, in my opinion was the way it should have been since it was their error. This time, I told them I wasn't sure if it was frames or the prescription … and, as previously mentioned, was told IF I had come in the first time complaining about the frames, that would have

Love Dr Charton, but front office staff is so rude! My appt was 45 min late and when I went to ask about the appt, the staff was RUDE! I have been to the office several time and this is definitely a reoccurring issue. Unfortunately, although Dr Charton is great I won't be returning due to the other staff.
