Services
Regular dental exams are an important part of preventive health care. During the dental exam, the Dr. Kaufmann or hygienist will clean your teeth and identify gum inflammation or bone loss. We will then evaluate your risk of developing tooth decay and other oral health problems, as well as check your face, neck and mouth for abnormalities.
Dr. Kaufmann provides a variety of the newest restorative dentistry options for your benefit. Treatment of cavities depends on how severe they are and your particular situation. Fluoride is a mineral that helps teeth repair themselves at the earliest stage of damage. If your cavity is just getting started, a fluoride treatment may be able to help restore your tooth's enamel.
Dr. Stephenie H. Kaufmann graduated from Coronado High School in Colorado Springs in 1989 and pursued her undergraduate career in at Colorado State University in Fort Collins Colorado. She was accepted into the University of Colorado School of Dentistry where she completed her Medical Science Bachelor of Science degree and her Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
Dr. Kaufmann offers you and your family a complete dental service and full dental care. Due to Dr. Kaufmann's extensive and continuous dental training, we are able to take care of nearly any dental needs right here at our Woodland Park office. Our patients of all ages appreciate seeing familiar faces and the comfort of knowing they are in caring hands.
We participate in the statewide effort to prevent oral disease in young children. The American Dental Association recommends children start their first dental visit at the age of one. Although their staff were very friendly, I had to wait a very long time to see someone. Additionally, after paying for my dental work on a credit card, I received a statement with finance charges (without every getting a bill) demanding payment.
One of the worst dentist offices I've ever dealt with and will certainly never go back there.
