As a condition of the eviction process in Baltimore City, I was required to have a locksmith on hand at the time the sheriff appeared to evict the squatter. After Goggling locksmiths, I called Seth at Schott & Son Locksmith Service, and I could not be more pleased with his service. He was willing to adjust his schedule to accommodate the sheriff’s arrival. He then went to work and replaced four locks. Seth was wonderful! My husband and I contacted him to rekey our new home after moving in. He was very helpful and took a lot of time with us and helped us get all our locks and doors in tip-top shape and functioning smoothly- he even ended up helping us out by installing new hardware that he had on stock, and even came back to very graciously fix a lock that was being finicky. His prices were very fair and he went above and beyond to help us out! Thank you Seth!

Hate to give even one star .... But had to to get my comment to post. Awful. Paid the son to do the job and he missed five appointments...five! Reported the unprofessional behavior to the father ....And he ended up even worse! Probably seven broken appointments and all day you hear I'm running a little behind. Even IF you have an appointment. No professionalism whatsoever. NOT TO MENTION THEY'VE KEPT MY MONEY. I plan to see them in court. Keep away ... Beware .... Shameful!

I recently called Schott & Son after their business hours on a Friday. They called me back first thing on Saturday morning, were out to my house and had all of the locks changed quickly (and before 8:30am!). Seth was super professional and did an awesome job, not to mention he was friendly and very understanding. I highly, highly recommend Schott & Son and Seth if you ever need your locks changed!

Seth (from Schott & Son) has done couple of projects for my company. He's friendly, on time, and recommends solutions within our budget. He has re-keyed doors and installed a card reader as part of our building security system that was much cheaper than other estimates I had received. If you are looking for someone honest and friendly that will do a good job, call Schott & Son.
