No sushi for starters. The food is fine but the customer service is horrible. I waited for 20 minutes after being seated to get chips and then 15 more after that only for the guy to say "you ready to order?" He never asked what we wanted to drink, I had to tell him as part of my order. So yeah, the food is good but I don't recommend going.

Great place for Mexican or Chinese food.
They give you a lot of food for the money. I always have to bring food home.
Great service, Clean.
They have a very good variety of food choices and don't nickel n dime you to death when you ask for extra sour cream n so on.
Usually DON'T have to wait to get a table any time I've been there but even on FRIDAY night even though they are busy.
They also have a drive through window. Great place!!!

My family and I have never had a bad experience here. The food has always been better than just good. Never would I have imagined that a single establishment could do justice to both Mexican and Japanese food at the same time, but this pulls it off splendidly. The staff is professional, if not overly friendly, and the store has always been clean.

Highly recommended to us. Service was prompt and friendly, and the restaurant was very busy. We got takeout on a Saturday night. Although the name makes you think the focus is on Japanese cuisine, the focus is clearly on Mexican. Even in the menu, Japanese entrees are not described, only named, while the Mexican dishes are lovingly detailed. Saw Mexican entrees being delivered to others and they looked and smelled fantastic. My house shrimp was unremarkable- not much flavor-or special ingredients. Honestly just shrimp, rice, and a side of zucchini with onions. Others got the crispy orange chicken

Wasabi is unique in that it's not really a fusion restaurant - but it serves both Mexican and Asian cuisine at the same location. I've only had the Mexican side of the menu. I had the fajitas with the cheese dip. Others in my family had the chimichanga, steak burrito, and tacos. Everything was great. I love that they have a drive-thru - especially during COVID-19 restrictions. It makes things way more convenient. You can order at the drive-thru if necessary, but I find it easier to call and place the order and then pick it up.

Both husband and I got 17 dollar plates with jumbo shrimp and dinner mixed. It was HORRIBLE! Chicken was so dry we couldn't believe we just paid that much for this. It's our second time here, first time was months ago and we maybe thought they got better... NOPE THUMBS DOWN FOR WASABI. Never going back.

We really enjoy our meal and our nice waiter. I ordered Carne Asada Regular and I loved it. They actually cooked my Carne Asada a Perfect Medium something that i always have a hard time in other Mexican restauran because they usually cook my Carne Asada well well well well well done. The only thing i missed was a really spicy salsa. The red and the green salsas were ok but not spicy at all. We'll be back for more Mexican food. (We haven't tried the Japanese food yet. Next time).

Better than a 3-star, but not really a 4, either. I had to try the place to see how the strange mix works. From the sign outside, you would think it's a Japanese restaurant with some Mexican style specialties. The reality inside is closer to a Mexican restaurant with the Japanese added in. most of the menu is dedicated to Mexican style food. However, there is a special all Sushi menu to look at, if that is your thing.
I decided to try the mix, and order a spring roll appetizer, with fajitas as my meal. I was clear to the server I was having the spring roll appetizer. And ordering the fajitas

Some of the reviews I have read for this place are outrageous. The food is amazing. They give you huge portions, and the price can't be beat. I take friends from out of town here all the time when they visit and they agree that it's all yummy. I have no idea why some of the reviews are so bad. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. I think some people just complain because they are looking for handouts.

I got the teriyaki chicken and my husband got the grande quesadilla. Mine was good and had a very large portion on the plate. My husbands quesadilla could have had a little more effort put into it. The cheese wasn't really melted on the inside, so it was kind of like a large soft chicken and cheese taco or something. Otherwise, we had a pretty good experience. Staff is friendly and food was served fairly quickly.

So after having multiple people recommend this place, on a day me and my family were starving we ordered an all Asian takeout. I'm talking 44$ worth, everything from lue mein, sweet and sour chicken, Terayki chicken, crab Rangoon, tempura shrimp. The ONLY thing worth eating was the Rangoon. Chicken was dry as a bone and hard, sweet and sour sauce drenched half our food, tempura shrimp was dry and bland. Rice so over cooked it was complete mush. Then let's add on top of that, my wife and I both have been sick ever sense we ate the food. I never ask for refunds but tomorrow I plan on it

Wasabi Express is to Japanese restaurants what Fazoli's is to Italian restaurants. At least, that's the feeling I got while eating there. It's not the large dining room, business casual kind of place, but rather an un-intimidating, casual experience. I'm not saying either are bad things.
