When my furnace fail to start I just found out checking the trouble code (4-2) that I have a bad Inducer
I start checking on Google where I can buy a replacement
After 5 or 6 companies told me they don’t have it or call again in January I was lucky to call Shortys HVAC Supplays LLS
When Ash answer the phone he told me they will have 3 inducers 340793-762 the next day and I can have one by overnight shipping
I put the order,I payed and the next day I did have it
Special words for Ash and Rick: very professional, very polite and understanding my emergency- very cold house

Returned from vacation and A/C was dead. I had a local service company out to diagnose. The issue was a dead variable speed ECM motor. EXPENSIVE! I came across Shortys website and contacted them about replacement parts. They were very responsive, very knowledgeable, and shared a lot of information on how to complete the repair. They were one of the lowest prices and very easy to work with. The replacement motor came in just a few days and is now installed and working great. What a great experience!

I tried several sources for my part, but since my system is 23 years old most simply could not help. Amazon wanted 40% more and could not deliver for 60 days!! Found SHORTY'S and they were not only the cheapest cost for an OEM part but shipped it for $8.45 !!

Just call them already!!! Like you, I spent way too many hours going down internet rabbit holes trying to figure out what part I needed.
Finally I just called these folks because I was going nuts. Four questions later the correct part showed up at my door for the right price. Being a home owner is scary. Amazon is not where you should go for HVAC parts. Trust me, a complete stranger, the person I spoke to knew what they were doing. My house is warm again. Thank you Shorty's.

I had a technician come to the house and determined the draft inducer assembly needed to be replaced. The cost would be $714 and $196 for labor. I searched the part number and found Shorty's HVAC Supplies. I sent an email to Shorty's to make sure I had the correct part and to make sure there wasn't anything else I needed. I sent that on Saturday 12/21/2019, on Monday 12/23/2019 I received an email asking about the furnace product number. I sent that and I received a link to the proper parts. I ordered the parts on Monday, I received a shipping confirmation and I received the parts

Had a outdoor unit compressor fan motor fail in my 19 year old Trane system during a heat wave. Had two options according to a local HVAC company that came out to take a look: Pay 1200 bucks for them to replace it as it required a GE OEM motor that was a grand alone by itself plus "other parts", or 8 grand for them to replace the entire outdoor unit.
I chose another option, do my own homework and replace the broken compressor motor myself. I found Shortys online found the motor and capacitor I needed, and then contacted them by phone to verify, which was answered by a gentleman

My SO (Significant Other) needed a part for our furnace.
Step 1: Try and find, on-line, the part # of the particular part you want; not a whole 'vibration mount' or 'draft inducer motor' (pardon me if I'm using wrong words; obviously I AM NOT the repair person, just the 'computer writer') or a kit -- just the 3 grommets.
Step 2: 'Stumble upon' Shortys HVAC (thank you Google). After a very easy-to-use website, compare their price

We usually buy our furnace filters at Shorty's and have had fast and efficient service. BUT this time we ordered the wrong size, an extremely costly mistake! Return postage for a box of five 20 x25 x5 filters is around $90, plus there's a restocking fee.
Amazon has the same filters for less, with free shipping and free returns if we mess the order up again. We learned our lesson, sorry Shorty's!

I got 3 quotes from local HVAC repairmen who wanted to charge me $500 for a new inducer motor plus labor. After reading up on the repair, I decided I could tackle it myself if I could find the parts for a reasonable price, but no one locally would sell me the part without installation. Then, the first 2 online retailers I contacted were $300 for the parts, and they treated me like I was an unwelcome foreigner.
Then, I spoke to Mike at Shorty's HVAC Supply. He looked up my furnace model and confirmed the motor part number, and gave me the encouragement I needed
