The leasing staff from my move-in (2019) until now (2021) have been excellent. Trevor and Susana in the management office are wonderful during my move-in process.
My maintenance request is always completed by the next day. One time, I had my bathtub painting peeled off. The apartment management promptly assessed the issue. Marissa at the management office also booked the room at Marriott for two nights. She also gave me the meal allowance. The maintenance person is professional, and he can fix any maintenance issues thoroughly and timely. If leadership is reading this, please make sure that your

I lived here for 4 years. Pool, kids play area & office has been closed since March of 2020 started. There is 90 units. 5 guest parking spots & 6 washers and dryer's. If you are looking for a place to live with no amenities then Moonraker Apartments is the place for you. As of 2021 pool is open by reservation only from 10am to 4 pm. Monday through Thursday. No weekends. You have one bbq for 90 units. Roach infested grounds.
We have had 4 managers since we moved here. Office has been closed & they won't meet with you in person unless you are renting a unit otherwise office

I've been living here for 2 years now and it's been a good experience overall. Whenever there's a problem with the apartment the manager Trevor would always help us out and send someone to fix the problem right away. Rent isn't too expensive compared to other apartments near school and it's also walking distance from csuf which is definitely a plus!

My stay here was okay for 1 year. They went through a change in management towards the end, so getting a hold of someone was difficult although they had a major leak in one of the buildings that affected some tenants who had to be relocated to a hotel.

Very nice apartment setting, quiet and peaceful. Looks great at night with the great lighting. This apartment complex covers all utilities aside from internet and cable. The woman at the leasing office, Brooke, was very kind and willing to go out of her way to accommodate for her resident's needs. Conveniently located and composed of small family's and young couples. Different ambience compared to that of student filled apartments. 5 stars!

Fantastic place, We've been living there for almost two years. it's a good place for students or small families. we had a one bedroom with den and love it. it was the first apartment that my wife and I rented. everything is also free and you don't need to be worry about the utilities. a good place to live and you can access to lots of shopping centers and restaurants. the only problem is freeway noise when you leave the windows open. The manager is kind and respectful, we strongly recommend this place for living.

I rated a 3 because I had a solid average time while living here. I think a lot of these reviews are pre-new management.
I lived here for 2 and a half years in two different units. I lived in a studio unit for a year, extended my lease for that unit for another year, and then roaches started coming in to my apartment. When I told management about it, they treated my apartment as best they could but from what I learned, these particular bugs come in through the plumbing. Management accommodated by moving me to a unit on the opposite side the complex (different plumbing system?) and I never had

Horrible place to live. they lure you in since they are close to campus and reasonably priced (at first) and they pay utilities. But after one year, your rent is increased by $50-$100 every time you renew your lease, they turn off water pretty regularly (and give less than 24 hours notice.... I'm talking like the morning of they let you know), leasing office guy (Johnny Munoz) is rude, inconsiderate, and tow happy. Plus, they make up ludicrous reasons to keep your deposit. If you try to get receipts/information about why they kept it, they make sure to rarely call back and fight with you on

Rude and very slow maintenance service. My sink was leaking and they said 15 min., one hour later, still no service! Also the materials that these apt. are made of is very cheap. You can be the cleanest person and the cheap material of the walls, bath tub and counters will absorb dirt and stains super easily. I mean you have to clean the tub more than twice a week if you want it to look clean.
After living here for two years I realized it was the cheap material that made this apt. so freaking dirty looking! If you end up living on the third floor next to the freeway you can never open the window

I was a 13-year resident of two different studio apartments. As affordable as Moonraker was, I just moved out for an even better arrangement.
Kate's pros/cons on the complex are 98% on the money.
I never had a problem with noise. Cal State Fullerton is a commuter school, not a party school. There is little to celebrate if you attend CSUF. Students never presented a problem for me, but then again, the studio apartment building is hardly the place to convene a party.
An annual safety inspection may be inconvenient if you're home during the day, but I never felt I was being spied on

Lived here from 2002-2005 "the transition years". It was okay, nothing great. The pros = all utilities paid for, which is great considering you cannot open your windows ever. The din of the 57 makes it impossible to hold a conversation when the windows are open and the amount of dust it brings into your apartment make keeping your place tidy impossible. Needless to say in order to have fresh air the AC had to be on 24/7, thank you ozone layer. The place is old, the built-ins fell apart but the rent was cheap and I didn't expect much. You have your typical college-kid party from time

Everything the previous reviewer said was right on target. I chose these apartments because they are close to CSUF, within a convenient walking distance. The price was good, especially since electricity is included in the utilities they cover. I had the largest floorplan, and we basically got two rooms of space for the price of one. They do allow cats with a deposit, which is nice, but not dogs. They have a pool, but no one is ever in it, and all of the apartments have windows facing directly towards the pool area.

I lived here for a year while i was in college. There were random mold/safety inspections which I think were just an excuse for the neurotic manager to come and go through your stuff. There weren't any roaches or any sort of thing like that so that was nice and utilities were included, but if you want a mom away from home who's going to tell you to clean your room, this is it.
Its also near the freeway which is nice, but its too close to pretend its just the ocean.
