Homie Loans

Their motto is “We have your back”. In Orwellian irony, it should be changed to “Homie: A discount brokerage that may provide some service, or may actively work against you”. A longer review is on Yelp, but to sum up, they held my loan disclosures until after it was too late, conspired to move my earnest money out of an escrow account and into the seller’s account, then tried to clean up the mess by offering me cash outside of escrow. Opposite of having my back, they stabbed me in the back. Result? I lost $7,000 and have nowhere to live.

We have been trying to purchase a home listed by homie. Its a beautiful home, we fell in love with it just by looking at pictures. We offered on it and got under contract. The house appraised for 50k lower than listed. There were several things misrepresented on the listing, the main one being the square footage was 800 feet off! The last straw was the sellers refused to pay the buyers agent fee, totally unethical. Through the whole process it seemed like the seller was getting bad or no advice that was coming from the Homie agent. I'll never try to buy a home listed by Homie again. You get what

My experience with Homie was incredible. My agent, Dan Hicks, went above and beyond to help me through the process and to be an advocate for my interests. The process was smooth and seamless. Their online platform made it incredibly easy to upload, view, and sign documents. Their showing process was very inclusive. Overall, 11/10. I will recommend Homie to any person I know that is looking to sell their home or buy a new home.

Homie is great they are revolutionizing the process of selling a home. The future of selling homes will change and Homie is a major player in that future.

Pretty standard get what you pay for. I had two different agents. First one was TERRIBLE! My home went under contract and then wasn’t and I never knew why. To Homie’s credit they changed the agent. The new one was better but still never knew anything about my home other than people liked it and it went under contract 3 separate times and never sold. It would have been much better had I listed myself. Ultimately not a good experience for me in that there was such little communication. I’ll either hire an agent or list myself in the future, Homie just isn’t worth $2500, I can save the extra

My family and I decided to move very quickly. Our Homie Agent, Vincent Genovesi, was amazing. Our house sold for in the first weekend! He kept is in the loop, helped us understand the offer process, and got us to close in less than 30 days. We saved so much money which is always a perk too! Definitely will use Homie again.

We sold our home using homie and the entire experience was great, every bit as good as a traditional home selling process.

Homie was a great experience. We wanted to find a home at our own pace and not have every offer available shoved in our faces. When we found the house we wanted, our agent got us in even though it was all booked that day and we were able to get the home of our dreams before the market got too expensive. We sold our home with Homie. It was easy. Parker was our agent and he answered all of our questions. He responded to us quickly, no matter the day or time. Absolutely zero regrets choosing Homie. It allowed us to not delay starting a new job out of state, coordinate photography remotely (Taylor Raymond's pics were legit), have more flexibility in negotiation (we didn't have to squeeze every last penny to make up for crazy seller agent commissions), e-sign with Homie Title (e-notary during COVID was amazing), and get multiple full- and over-asking-price offers (despite one buyer bailing after we had taken it off market over Memorial Day weekend).
