Our mission is to help people lead a more active and physically rewarding lifestyle, whether they simply seek the motivation and guidance of an experienced health professional, or are post-injury, post-diagnosis, or post-hospitalization. Our physical therapy background provides us, and our clients, with an advantage. A regular certified personal trainer provides a program for the healthy individual.
Services
Julie is a Certified Personal Trainer (AAAI-ISMA) and Physical Therapist (BS in PT from University of Maryland) with twenty-five years of experience. Her specialty is working with the over-50 population, post-surgery or disability, with a focus on safely improving strength and balance. Julie is an avid runner with a life-long commitment to exercise.
Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and individualized exercise program for all people looking to lead a longer and healthier life, and especially for those recovering from an injury and/or living with a disease. Upon request, PTPOST will attend your final physical therapy session to ensure a smooth transition from the therapy office to a home exercise program.
An outgoing, motivated, organized, personable and reliable individual to work one-on-one with clients doing personal training in their home or in one of the upscale condominiums we contract with. Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant and/or clinic experience a plus but not necessary.

Must be comfortable working with the 50+ population and be able to develop exercise programs for both the healthy individual as well as those resuming exercise post Physical Therapy.CPR and training certification necessary.
Since 2013, PTPOST has been in partnership with the exclusive Somerset House Community of Chevy Chase. We provide a wide range of services to the condominium residents, which include: gym staffing, individualized personal training, group exercise classes, equipment instruction and safety tips, and quarterly workshops and lectures on health and fitness.
How do you measure success? That's what we asked our clients - and here are just a few examples of real life achievements. We celebrated our 75th birthdays by completing the Billy Goat Trail hike in not much longer than three hours. We wouldn't have dared, if it weren't for the excellent strength, core and balance training we've been getting for over a year.
