My passion for acupuncture came about after a sports injury that left me in excruciating pain that was not letting up even after six weeks!
I seeked the advice of an orthopedic surgeon believing I must've really screwed things up this time since no improvement in pain or functionality after quite a while (6 weeks), and he advised me that the type of injury to my shoulder that I was experiencing did not need surgery and that it was going to take some time to heal.He recommended I take Advil for the pain and let time take care of things.

Life is moving at such a fast pace and the demand on us is so great, the last thing we need is pain or a health issue that starts to tap us of our energy and focus. Yet this is exactly what can happen when we have some health issue or "dis-ease" that conventional medicine may not always be able to address efficiently, and sometimes not able to help with at all.
During the treatments, clients often report a feeling of "calm & relaxation", and get a restful and rejuvenating nap. I had my first session with Artin this morning and was a bit weary as I have never done acupuncture before, but it blew my mind. Not only did the session make me feel incredibly relaxed and peaceful but his knowledge, care and energy is astounding. I will definitely do more sessions and would highly recommend going to see Artin at Summit Healing Arts for anyone new to acupuncture.

Artin is amazing! He is generous, attentive and intelligent. I have had terrible plantar faciitis for almost a year, and Artin helped me a lot. I saw him for three times a week for two months, and my conditioned improved drastically. I could barely walk when I first started seeing him, and by the end, I could do almost any physical activity. Artin is by far the best acupuncturist I have ever been to. He cares deeply about his patients, both their physical and mental health, and has a clear understanding of how the two are connected. Artin is a fantastic acupuncturist. I have never met someone so attentive, so caring, so through with his treatments. Even the questions he asked me revealed that his treatments are more targeted and more comprehensive than I could have ever expected. I just finished my second treatment and am amazed at how well I feel. Artin explains everything he does and why he is doing it. He also spends time before each treatment asking how I feel and what improvements I've noticed. He never seems hurried and is very patient. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I have struggled with daily lower back pain for almost 2 years. I have seen all sorts of doctors with no success. Artin is amazing! After only three sessions, I can already feel that my back is getting better, as well as other emotional and health benefits. I highly recommend you see Artin if you can. He truly cares about his patients, and was able to put me at ease (I HATE hate hate needles), so that is a feat in an of itself.

I have been seeing Artin for a few months now and he is great! This has been my first acupuncture experience, and I was a little nervous about the needles in the beginning but Artin made it very comportable for me. He has explained what he see's and what he is doing very well which adds to my comfort level. I am a student with multiple jobs so my stress level is pretty high, he has been able to balance my feelings of stress and assist with clearing and sharpening my mind. Artin changed my entire outlook on life; something I never foresaw happening but am so pleased it did. I began seeing him mostly to treat anxiety that was affecting me emotionally and physically. The concept of Eastern medicine was new territory for me, but what Artin said made sense: that I would not heal without viewing my life in completely different ways.
