Epic Event Center is a family owned wedding and event venue located in the Cedar Rapids Area. Jerry and Karen Sunderman, along with their children (Jami & Scott Rosekrans and Ryan & Nikki Sunderman), transformed the space into an indoor and outdoor event venue they are all proud of. Epic Event Center features outdoor spaces including a Willow Tree overlooking a pond and a Gazebo with a patio. For a truly romantic and magical wedding, Epic Event Center is the venue of choice in the Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas. Our spacious venue features high ceilings, romantic lighting, and a large dance floor to get everyone moving. I can’t say enough good things about Jami, Karen, and the entire Epic staff. They were more than welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our wedding went off without a hitch. I didn’t feel the need to decorate whatsoever because the interior is beyond beautiful on its own. I will definitely recommend Epic to anyone looking for a venue for a holiday party, wedding, anything.

AMAZING owners and venue! Karen is so sweet and works with you to make your day super special! The venue is so pretty and makes it easy to decorate with little to no decorations needed! Highly highly recommend having your wedding here! You even get a gift card left on your car if you leave it over night! :)

We got married there this past weekend. From the very beginning, Karen, Jami, and the rest of the staff there was extremely friendly and helpful. It's a family operation and they will treat you like family. The venue itself it's rightfully named Epic. It's absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. The outdoor areas are just as nice as the inside. I can't recommend this place enough. It's a hidden gem that will impress you and your guests.

Karen, Jami, and their staff made our entire wedding. One of the biggest pieces of advice we received was to just enjoy the moment and not get caught up in the little things. It was truly the least stressful wedding and we were able to truly focus on our special day and each other. Karen and Jami handled everything! Even things we didn’t think of. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about the venue and the staff. The bar staff was extremely friendly and were constantly asking what they could do to make our day. We wish we could relive our day and if we could it would ABSOLUTELY

110% recommend the Epic Event Center! Karen and staff helped make our day absolutely perfect! This is the most beautiful venue in Eastern Iowa for a dream wedding. We have received so many compliments about our wedding day, start to finish. We had a very large guest count and the venue accommodated perfectly!
