Our teachers and staff will help your child to become independent and make good choices. We strive to introduce your child to different aspects of learning so they're prepared for the future. We're extremely proud of our directors, teachers and support staff. Our staff is trained in first aid and CPR and we require ongoing training for our staff through classes, orientation videos, in-house training and other certifications.
The Barnyard is honestly the best decision my husband and I could have made when it comes to childcare in Boise. We looked at several other facilities in the valley and even looked into a nanny at home. None of those options we explored could even come close to what the Barnyard has provided our family.
At The Barnyard, we understand that learning begins with baby's first breath. We provide the highest quality care in an environment that is designed to treasure our babies and guide them with extra loving care. Our "chicks" will learn and grow through music, exercise, facial and verbal mimicking as well as lots of hugs, love, laughter and tickles.
A $100 one-time non-refundable enrollment fee and half of the first month's tuition is required to secure your spot; the second half is due on your child's start date. Tuition also includes transportation for students attending the following schools: Adams Elementary, Liberty Elementary, Riverside Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Trailwind Elementary, and White Pine Elementary.

Our son went to The Barnyard for about 5 months and in the beginning, we loved it. He was happy, making friends and learning. A couple months ago, however, the establishment took a major downturn when one child in his class was forgotten in a closed, unattended Barnyard van for 45 minutes in 90 degree weather. The school did not notify us of the incident and we had to hear about it by word of mouth, where it was the parents who were advocating for child safety, rather than the school itself. After being pushed to address the incident, the directors still did admit any wrong doing and continued

Critical: Quality
Last week, Barnyard was investigated by the department of Health and Welfare for potential child neglect. I'm not sure what the exact incident was, but a family member had to pull their child out of this daycare. If you are considering sending your child here, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

The Barnyard left a toddler unattended in a van for over 50 minutes when it was over 90 degrees outside. The child could have died. They then tried to downplay the situation, misleading parents. It wasn't until the parents of the victim met with other parents and shared their story that the Barnyard finally started to take some accountability. This place is dishonest and will try to hide mistakes. If you care for your child, do not send them here.

This is an incredible childcare center. Not only do the staff care about your kids, they are inclusive, developmentally based, and provide your children with meaningful activities.
We experienced 3 different childcare situations (a large center, a small center, and private childcare) none even hold a candle to the Barnyard. The best part for us... they use no screens! That means that you aren’t paying money for your children to be sitting in front of a computer or TV set all day. They go on walks/bike rides, play outside, do learning-based crafts/activities, and have a really robust curriculum

I have absolutely loved being a part of the Barnyard family. It has been such a pleasure to work here! The teachers and staff care so much for each and every student. It is a very welcoming environment to children of all ages, and the building is absolutely beautiful. 10/10 for this daycare and learning center!

We have been so pleased with The Barnyard. The staff are incredibly talented and engaged in their work with kiddos. Safety is always a priority, and they have protocols in place to deal with situations as they arise. Leadership is great about communicating with us as parents. Most importantly, we know that our child is leanring so much, and is well taken care of every single day!

I don't know where we'd be without the Barnyard. It's been a lifesaver for us after we relocated to Boise with two young children and two working parents. Barnyard teachers are nurturing, high energy, and invested. The staff is always friendly and responsive and know all the kids' names. They have a great in-house chef who makes a healthy variety of meals and snacks. Parent communication is detailed and fun - lots of pictures and a user-friendly app make it easy to stay up to date and communicate with teachers and staff. Facilities are big, bright, clean, and new. Drop-off and pickup logistics

A+ Daycare. We are grateful for all you do. As essential workers in the health care field we are not as fortunate to be able to work from home. Our daughter absolutely loves going to the barnyard. She loves her teachers and the food. We love seeing the kiddos outside riding around in our neighborhood. Thanks for helping to take such great care of our daughter all while safely navigating the pandemic.

If you closed your eyes and imagined the best Daycare in the whole world.... the Barnyard is what you would see.
The facility? Beautiful, safe, secure, and lots of light and outdoor play spaces. The staff? Smiling, friendly, consistent, loving, and kind. Seamless billing and easy payment? Check. Reasonable prices? Check. A secure and easy-to-use app to check on your kiddo throughout the day? DOUBLE CHECK. Also, the kids eats better than I do thanks to the gourmet cooking and huge kitchen. Nomore chicken nuggets for us!
I could go on and on about how happy I am, but you’re probably bored by

We have been at the Barnyard since they opened almost a year ago, and have loved minute there. Our daughter started in the Chicks (infant) Room and has moved up two classes since then. I have been more than impressed with each teacher she has had in those classrooms. The leadership and staff are all warm, affectionate, knowledgeable and extremely dedicated to providing the best care for kiddos of all ages and stages. Their attention to cleanliness, nutrition and great age-appropriate activities are things our family has greatly appreciated. The Barnyard is simply the BEST!
