Calvary Preschool Center

Calvary Preschool Center is a ministry of Calvary Church and is a religious, non-profit charitable organization. Church doctrine is not part of the center's curriculum, however, basic Christian philosophy is integrated into the children's daily routine. This includes items such as Bible stories, songs, and simple prayers.

Miss Pam joined the staff of CPC in 2004 to help kick off our now very successful two-year old preschool program. She quickly displayed her leadership capabilities and began to assume leadership responsibilities. Pam has her degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working with children for most of her life in a variety of ways including being an In-home Nanny and directing in Children's Ministries.

Our goal is to provide learning experiences that will allow the child to acquire the necessary skills for advancement to first grade. Through play time, the child will also build interpersonal relationships with the teacher and other students. We monitor this goal by offering regular progress reporting and annual testing.

Students will enjoy planned activities in seven different categories: language arts, music, art, gross motor skill, readiness, science, and the Bible. We utilize the A Beka Christian curriculum which features phonics, manuscript print form, and age appropriate math concepts. Learning is enhanced through daily activities which include science experiments, art projects, and musical activities.
