From our humble beginnings 180 years ago, the Sharer Funeral Home has been a family owned & locally operated firm, guiding families in creating a meaningful ceremony to honor the life and memory of a loved one. For over 180 years, the Sharer Funeral Home has been serving the families of the Alliance area. In the mid 1830's, Philip Sharer and his family were one of the first Pioneer Families to settle in this area.

I had the misfortune of dealing with this funeral service after my mother's passing. The person I dealt with was Mr. William Gross. We went through what I thought was the normal process with me starting to realize that Mr. Gross was steering me towards the more expensive options. When I decided on the lower end of his casket options, he then offered to "rent" a display casket to me for $1200!!!! In total, Sharer was going to charge me over $12000 to bury my mother. After that shocking visit to Sharer, my niece started shopping around for less expensive options. We found one in Sebring, Ohio who

Great spot for a first date. Service was slow but the atmosphere was 10/10
