The associate was rude, ignorant, unprofessional, and not knowledgeable regarding tax questions with respect to securities trading. I had to hang up on her because her tone was too loud and argumentative.
I asked her how they file securities trading taxes. She made the claim that their procedure is to simply claim capitol gains or losses, however it isnt THAT simple, because securities exchanges will report every transaction record which occurred in the tax year. She followed up with her ignorant remark: "If you dont know what it is that you're doing maybe you shouldn't be doing it"
