Yoga is about challenging the breath. We do this by putting the body in various poses and remembering to breathe. It's not so much about flexibility of the body, but rather our ability to relax and breathe when we feel challenged in a pose. When we walk out the door and are faced with stressful situations in our day to day lives, we can use that same relaxed breathing to get us through any situation.
With a stronger focus on private instruction and small intimate sessions, we have relocated to our quiet, self-contained home studio. This sun filled space looks out onto lush green trees that are a year round home to squirrels and birds. The sounds of birds chirping and wind chimes blowing in the breeze will help you stay connected to your center and focused on your breath.

A home studio sounds different. Will we be practicing in your living room? No! Our home has a mother-in-law suite with it's own entrance and bathroom. It is a sun filled room with hardwood floors and french doors spilling out onto a lush backyard where we will occasionally practice. Are class sizes limited?

A lover of cheese, ice cream and plenty of butter and homemade ghee, vegan just seemed too extreme, too weird, and really. The answer came to me after reading The China Study.
