Your initial exam will last approximately one hour. Oral hygiene instructions will be provided along with suggestions to help you care for your teeth. In most cases, we will also clean your teeth on this visit and provide an evaluation that will outline your existing dental problems and proposed treatment.

I went here to have dental work done several years ago and haven't been happy with the results. I had a crown placed that wasn't placed correctly and it offset my bite and created discomfort. The doctor adjusted it 4 times before bringing up the possibility of a root canal. Afterwards I found out that my dental insurance wasn't covering the complete fee for the crown because the information wasn't sent in a timely fashion. This resulted in money being paid out of my own pocket rather than with my HSA like I intended. This was the last straw as the staff refused to do anything

Have been going to Dr Wood for years now and always am treated with respect and concern. He explains what he will be doing completely and shows you pictures. He did want to change some very old fillings in my mouth but I have resisted this as I did this once many years ago and it did not turn out well. He does not pressure me to make these changes, just recommends them. he does have state of the art technology and is very clear about prices up front.

Anyone who knows me knows that I have an extreme fear of the going to the dentist. After my second appointment with Dr Wood years of fear and anxiety have literally gone out of the window. Dr Woods and his staff are patient and very knowledgeable. If you're looking for a dentist you should look no further.

My experience at Wood Dental, summer 2018 was beyond my expectations. The office is comfortable and there is a feel of cohesiveness. I had the initial services of Cleaning and X ray. I was able to see my x-ray and Amanda took pictures of my teeth with an intraoral camera! While I haven't seen Dr.Wood yet, I did get to say hello!

What a fabulous practice! I can't say enough about the excellent care that I received here. I'm a nervous patient, and I felt that Dr. Wood took as much time as I need and were extremely careful and gentle. I would recommend this practice for anyone - young or old.

Snake oil sales man.
HORRIBLE front office.
Over billed and they refused to give the money back. I had to get my bank involved.
I went in for a cleaning because I needed that anyway but had lingering pain that had not been resolved from another dentist, which I was thought was going to be a root canal. I arrive, he said "you don't need a root canal, you need a deep cleaning with a periodontist.
Went to the doctor he recommended. THAT Doctor said "Yes you need TWO roots canals".
So I went back to the dentist and he referred me to a endodontist. THAT doctor did an official

Dr Wood and his Associates are professional and top notch. I'm treated like family. Any question I have is explained in terms I understand. Any dental problem I have is taken care of with the best solution in mind. My last visit was having a tooth crowned. There aren't many places in Western New York where you can have a crown in place with 1.5 hours. Why risk infection with temporary crowns, waiting for the permanent crown to be delivered from someplace else? A state-of-the-art system that makes an exact duplication of your tooth with the use of lasers is the only way to go. I&apos

I absolutely hate going to the dentist - except to see Dr. Wood! He is extremely personable and his staff is courteous and engaging, definitely helps to calm my anxieties. He has state of the art technology, and he reviews your case thoroughly, answering questions and presenting you with your options. He also makes sure to show you exactly what he is going to fix with a small video camera, so that you know exactly what his concerns are. I trust him completely and would not go anywhere else for my dental care. His hygienists also give thorough cleanings and make sure that you are comfortable

Dr. Wood is a really friendly dentist who always explains every aspect of the procedure and makes sure I feel comfortable before he starts.
Every time I visit his office he's got some new technology to improve his services, making things less painful and a lot simpler.
And he takes pride in his work - he's not afraid to take however much time is required to make sure his work is perfect.
Let's put it like this - I live in NYC, and I insist on going back home to get dental work. Def a fan
