Winter Haven Health & Rehabilitation Center provides coordinated, comprehensive services to meet the care needs of the individual resident and patient. The interdisciplinary team members will collaborate with residents, patients, families, and staff to develop an individualized plan of care for each resident and patient.

The interdisciplinary team works with the attending physician to develop an aggressive rehabilitation program and ensure the complex medical needs of the patients are addressed and a comprehensive plan of care is developed to help these patients return to their normal level of functioning as quickly as possible.

The nursing assistance at winter haven health and rehab are not as professional as I was led to believe some of them aren't curtiuous as they should be only two of them are. The food service lacks knowledge my food is cold 98 percent of the time they don't give the residents a chance of breakfast items nor read what the information given by the residents some of us here are diabetics and can't eat starchy foods or orange juice: it no good use to say anything :( during the time I have been here the staff has failed to uphold the duties that have they sworn to. I was a CDM at this place for four months it’s the worst place ever to work! When I was there we had change of leader ship every month in the four months I work there we had four different administrators four different DONs and a multitude of staff changing! Leader ship at the top and accountability and passion for work is lacking at this place don’t even waste your time going here you’ll be disappointed!!

This is a great place to come for rehab. The nursing and support staff are very caring, compassionate and respectful. Your needs are always taken care of and if you have a special request everyone is willing to help you with it. The therapists work with you and encourage you so you can be successful with your rehab. The housekeeping staff keeps the facility very clean and the food is good too!

This is the worst place to be as a patient. As I came through the front door on the gurney I could smell the urine throughout the building. I asked for my medication at 6p and here it is 1:25am in the morning and I'm not getting any response. I needed to use the bathroom and because there was no access to the supplies I had to pee in a diaper. Sorry, I wouldn't leave my dog alone in this place. As soon as day light breaks I'm so out of here.

My father is there, only until we can get him moved. . . The place really deserves no stars but you have to use one to give a review. As in the other reviews, this place is disgusting. The urine smell does permeate through the entire facility, it is nasty. He was sent to this place not by our choosing, just straight out of the hospital, he had major surgery. We were not given an opportunity to check them out before he was sent there. His pain meds "ran out" TWICE so he had to suffer while they had to get more for the first time 23 hours and the second 18 hours. This kind of thing is ridiculous

We finally got my mom moved from this Hell Hole. It took her getting very sick and hospitalized. Due to negligence mom was hospitalized for 7 days and had to go back to this place for about a week. **One of the things I've noticed from these reviews is that most patients were sent directly from the hospital to this place. A lot of familes were never given the chance to visit or even speak to any one prior to their loved one being moved. As mentioned in one of the other posts the restroom that my mom shared with 3 other patients was stopped up, filled with paper and feces

It is 11 at night and almost five hours since I signed my mother out when she was sent there earlier today for physical therapy after leaving the hospital. I pray people read these reviews and I can help people know not to send their precious loved one to this place. My heart breaks for the patients l saw and l feel helpless. I hurt because while I immediately got my mother out of there once l got there to see her, l wish l could have taken every other patient out.

Was told by Tammy when calling that it was a 4 star facility. I wouldn't give it one star. Was told my parent would go into single room. Oh she did. Once she was in the door they switched her to a double with no explanation. No pictures on walls just random empty hooks everywhere. My mothers hair was greasy and. I had to go to director of nursing to get her a shower. Was put in shower with another naked woman. My mother was mortified. Was told bed baths were the thing there. Another patient's relative said "you must stay on top of these people to get things done". The only plus this place has is
