Coming from someone who was working inside of the building, please do not send your loved ones here. The neglect makes my stomach turn, and nothing was ever done. The night shift CNA's on 100 are ungodly mean & vulgar to the people that live there. The communication isn't there when it comes to staffing, there's really no training, & they completely over work their staff. They will hire just about ANYONE & you'd probably be very upset if you knew the way the residents were treated. Some women & men are even afraid to pee in their brief because the CNAS yell at them & call them "bad boy/girl" Most

Well I've been here 3 yrs and upon my first arrival they were a 5⭐ facility now it's a 2.4 they stay very short staffed hire alot of PCA's that need absolutely no training to care for admitted patients in a facility ..I teach them more of how to care for me than the facility teaches ...their food is almost inedible ..I mean sure they probably meat the health guidelines but rest assured their NOT good.. they hesitate for anyoutside help when it comes to emergencies you have to force them to call a Dr. The rent here is sky high and no one pays the same amount , which goes to say ...if I worked

My Mother went there for Rehabilitation and she went from fair health to passing away passing within a months time. Not from the COVID Virus either but from Very poor treatment. Being denied food to being denied medicine! I tried bringing food to basic toiletries and mysteriously have those items to just disappeared. When I tried to visit my Mother I was told she is in Quarantine and wasn't allowed visitors. Plus my Mother was Denied a telephone most of the time. This is the "Silver" Reputation of Bad Medical Treatment!!!

Don't send your loved ones here!
My dad was supposed to be in rehabilitation after a hip surgery and when he came home he had BAD untreated sores on his "behind" and a huge one on the hill as if he was moved from bed very little. He couldn't even talk, had no voice a was stiff. I don't think he was encouraged to eat or if he was helped (he has Parkinson's), so he lost a lot of weight. Only a few pieces of clothes that we sent him came back (they were all labeled with his name), they sent him home with all the wrong clothes from another patient. The personnel is nice but we regret greatly sending

My mom was there for a bit over 3 years. Her choice. When she was well enough to decide that is where she wanted to be. It wasn’t to bad until her last year. Wasn’t informed when she was in the ICU until several hours later. I was told it was because they “didn’t have my phone number “. Mind you I had a text relationship with the unit manager as I live out of state. I was her poa so yes they did or the unit manager wouldn’t have been able to text me to tell me I needed to call Lakeland regional where she was🤔🤔. I never was I formed when she had any medical issues that needed attention

Its a wonderful place to work iv been here 13 years and I wouldn't put my family member in any other place. The Residents come first here. The DON has worked here for many years working her way up to her position now and her love for the residents show exactly why she earned that position. Valencia Hills is a wonderful facility with lots of employees who work hard to care for your loved ones!
