Great Host/Bartenders. Extremely professional and provided great customer service. Had the Brie, Hummus and Pulled pork sandwich. Well prepared and presented. Lite crowd but nice ambiance I would definitely recommend. Clean restrooms and nicely landscaped. Cool sleek pool. A nice change for a hotel/bar.

I love the bar here. Their drinks are strong, but not too strong. The service is friendly, but not too friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and intimate and among all the Christmas decor, comforting. I wish more people would go here so it stays in business. I haven't seen the hotel rooms but I will recommend this place to the first out of town visitors that don't stay with me. The grounds are adorable and as long as the service is reasonably decent I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't like it here.

We are here for our second night on an Airbnb mix up. The hotel, the grounds and the bar/restaurant are all deserving of 5 star reviews! David for the second night was so hospitable! He helped us get settled in again and gave us so much information about Ruby, The Ruby hotel and the area. He had great local recommendations for hiking and donuts! The bartender ( I apologized, I’ve forgotten his name.) provided a great meal and drinks with such a friendly smile! The place is spotlessly clean with such attention to details that make your stay so Cozy! We hope to return again!

Would be 5 star easy. Staff was awesome, most everything about the room was perfect. We had great service from Keira and her bartender and the room itself is instantly attractive.
So why only 3 stars? I'm writing this at 3am because I can't go back to sleep. The room is bright with lights I can't turn off. The thermostat, clock, and smoke detector make enough light to rival a child's night light without the cookie monster cover on the bulb. I wish I was joking, I just made shadow puppets on my wife's butt from the nuclear green thermostat laser light that actually hurts my eyes if I look straight

I came in last weekend for a friend's birthday. As this was a major milestone birthday for her, we wanted to come here to relax and have a chill time.

The Ruby Hotel is an incredible experience to say the least. David at the front desk and Tom at the bar make your stay one to remember. From the beautiful story of how the Ruby was started to the atmosphere and ambience of the entire operation, everything is a 10/10. I'm a local, we rode our bikes over and had the Ruby Old Fashioneds and some food. The drinks were on point. We love old fashioneds and this one didn't disappoint. I had the Grilled Brie and Prosciutto and omg the most delicious grill cheese ever. Totally elevated. The honey drizzle really made it. The arugula salad and dressing made it even better.

What a lovely boutique Bar! Well appointed, very cozy converted house with a mid century modern vibe. Large ancient oaks tower over the property. At the well stocked bar, Brian & Austin provided excellent service, conversation and charcuterie. We sat out on the bug free patio in back enjoying the nearly full moon overlooking the river and the turning trees. My date summed it up perfectly by saying it's small, intimate, simple & open. I'd recommend it to those looking for an off the beaten path respite from downtown.

This is based on service from the bartender.
No acknowledgement for 20 minutes twice during a comedy show. I gave up the 1st time to go see my friend perform
He's cussing under his breath about being busy. Understandable, but genuinely every patron was being more than patient.
I watched the bartender sit down with guests while people were waiting at the bar-how is this appropriate in a hotel bar?
He was telling his rail his life stories and ignoring the new crowd that pushed up

Specifically for the Bar: Such a gem in Round Rock. I loved the elevated decor and welcoming atmosphere. Wonderful cocktails and sweet ambience. The lighting could be dimmer and the run of the mill bar candles would go a long way in there. But overall, a very nice change of pace from the other round rock bars.

I can’t believe that I forgot to review this hotel. 😳. This was one of the best times that we have had in a long time. The style of the rooms is what attracted me in the beginning and I wasn’t disappointed when we got there to find that the rooms are just as nice and airy as they are in the pictures that I saw.

My husband and I stayed at The Ruby for a week while visiting family in Round Rock. The location was convenient, and the hotel feels really intimate and relaxed. Our room was so comfortable and pretty, and starting our days with coffee on the porch overlooking the creek was divine. Just what we needed to really take a break from our everyday lives! The second morning we woke up at The Ruby, I made a cup of coffee, went out on the porch, sat down, and realized that I hadn't even thought about my phone, and it was still plugged in next to the bed. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give - could not have been more impressed! Beautiful and peaceful setting, within walking distance of downtown Round Rock. Our room was spacious with a wonderful patio overlooking the water. Staff was friendly and attentive. We also really enjoyed the creative and delicious drinks prepared at the Ruby’s very unique and memorable bar. Will definitely stay again!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Ruby! We live in Austin and did a quick night away sans kids. We ended up staying on the Ruby property that evening and enjoyed sipping on cocktails and listening to live music on the patio (highly recommend!). Our room was spotless, comfortable, contemporary and chic with cement floors and modern decor. The back patio looked out to the beautiful greenbelt. Would definitely recommend the Ruby and plan to visit again!

Staff is beyond friendly, and the grounds are immaculate! I love how easy the check in process was, it's done remotely, via photograph of your face and id. Everything is done via text message and it makes it so nice to just go straight to your room and unwind. Also the text message updates about happy hour and events is a kind reminder you're not stuck to your room.
The hotel is simple with a small pool, rooms are cozy with beautiful balconies that overlook the creek. The bar/restaurant is delicious and so much more than I could of expected of such a quant little hotel.

I wanted a fun place to stay for my birthday and I'm so happy to have stumbled across this little gem. Very unique modern little boutique hotel. The room was immaculate and gorgeously decorated. Spacious and I loved the big standing shower and comfortable beds. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Great pool and bar with food. Will definitely be visiting again

OMG!!! This place was beyond my expectations!!! The staff was amazing. My room was beyond amazing. The entire property was so beautiful. The views from my balcony - so relaxing. If you love nature, this is your spot!! I came here to get rejuvenated & recharged and did just that. Kyle was so attentive, really the entire staff was but Kyle went above and beyond making sure I was having a great stay! Natalie at the Ruby Bar was such a pleasure. She was extremely helpful and you could tell she loves her job and meeting people! I will definitely be back! I have already sent the details

We had a room block here for our wedding recently. We also held our rehearsal dinner at the bar and rented out the space. Their staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, informative, and fantastic to work with!
Rooms were clean (with the exception of spiders in like every room - but it is Texas I guess). The grounds were well maintained. The setting is scenic and just perfectly on the river to see wildlife!
The food and drinks at the bar were TOP NOTCH too. A must stay!!

The Ruby Bar... such an amazing and special place! Located right next to The Ruby Hotel, along the gorgeous Brushy Creek... this restaurant is one of the best in Round Rock, and even the greater Austin area!!!

Loooove this spot. We haven't stayed at the hotel but we truly enjoyed the Ruby bar. Beautiful ambience, building and landscaping. I am so so happy this exists in Round Rock. Dare I say- it feels like Austin! We went for happy hour and enjoyed the Ruby Old Fashioned and Great Balls of Fire. The OF was truly the best I'd had and the GBF was spicy!! Their salmon dip was just as good as the drinks. Can't wait to bring visiting guests, especially with all the space to safely spread out.

It's such a beautiful little piece of property! My wife and I stayed in a creek view king room. It was nicely decorated. The best part is the balcony and view! We had a corner room with a small wrap around balcony looking out over the creek. What a great morning it was spent sipping coffee and looking at the water!
The bar was nice too! The drinks were great and the food was too. Everything was reasonably priced. We split a few dishes. My favorite was the truffle Parmesan popcorn. I had the old fashioned and it was very smooth!
