The Plantation House is located about 40 minutes outside of Austin Texas and is a great alternative to the Austin hotels. Our secluded and stunning Bed and Breakfast offers an exclusive and classy experience for all of your guests. You'll love staying at our Boutique Inn!. Each suite has it's very own personality, but with similar design. We believe that our traditional style house does not have to lack the trends and fashions of today.
Fredericksburg is a great place to visit for the week if you're looking for fantastic wine. Ladybird Lake is a great place to relax in the heart of Austin. There are plenty of places to rent water toys and lots of restaurants nearby when you get hungry. Just west of Austin, Lake Travis is a body of water that offers great recreational opportunities.
The Plantation House Boutique Inn is a family owned exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of your reservation. The remaining balance will be due at check-in. Check-in: 3:00pm-6:00pm. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

I could sit here and write for days about how wonderful our stay was at the Plantation House. We went for our anniversary and couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay there! Luey and Norris are the kindest people. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the “Owners Suite” and loved everything about the room. The house and grounds are gorgeous! Luey’s breakfasts were outstanding. She made us the best omelette we’ve ever had. Her cookies and banana bread were so delicious too. We were lucky enough to stay at the Plantation House this weekend. It was the best decision we have ever made! The location of the Inn is central, yet perfectly secluded. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The house is exquisite, clean, and full of charm. Staying at a hotel can often be a cold and uncomfortable experience, but staying at the Plantation House felt like a second home! We stayed in the giant "Penthouse Loft". It was private, cozy, and full of character. They even have their own lotion, body wash, and toiletries that smell divine.

WOW....this is a world class gem!! I stayed here for a couple of days and this B&B is absolutely world class on every level. Easy to find, make reservations, spotless and so clean, great Inn keepers and world class 5 star customer service. Not many places feel like home and give you a true chance to relax and unwind. This is a must stay!! I will absolutely be back!!!

The owner couple were super nice. Luanna makes the best breakfast. She was so kind and allowed we have a sleepover birthday party for my kid. All the kids were so happy with playing in the pool. They have home made soap in each room, smell so good. The room was clean and also smell good. We had good time at Plantation bed and breakfast. Enjoyed snack time , home made sweets. Plenty of coffee, teas, hot coco.

Absolutely gorgeous B&B. There is an exceptional attention to detail and Luey went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The rooms are immaculate and look straight out of a magazine. Breakfast was amazing featuring fresh fruits German pancakes and delicious omelettes. We will definitely be returning.

I am so happy I came across The Plantation House during a Google Search. I was looking for Bed and Breakfast places in Texas and it popped up. I immediately fell in love with the pictures of the house, rooms and landscape.

BED AND BREAKFAST: We did a 2 nights staycation here and it was AMAZING. The property is so pretty and relaxing. It was everything we were looking for. We essentially stayed in and did not leave the property at all. We got food delivered from broth and basil.

This place was amazing! We were met at the door by the most special, friendly lady, given a tour and shown our incredible room!! This was our 24th anniversary and she made it so special! Bed was so comfortable, House is beautiful and breakfast was tasty and delicious. Would totally stay here again and HIGHLY recommend it!

We stayed here for a week in June visiting relatives and quite honestly could not have made a better choice of accommodations. Innkeeper Luanna simply oozes Southern charm and hospitality. She is breakfast maker extraordinaire and the consummate hostess. She and husband Norris are like good friends you never knew you had. We were able to host two pool parties for our local family members who were all made to feel as welcome as we were. Blown away with how amazing this place was as a bed and breakfast. The house is breathtaking, the people who run it are incredible, and the breakfast they made was one of the best I've ever had at a B&B. Oh, and the cookies....haha. AMAZING. The other thing was that the price was insanely cheap for what I felt i got from it. Loved it, and if/when I go back to Austin, I will absolutely stay there.

Sadly, the Plantation House is no longer a wedding venue. I contacted them and I was told they are now only a B&B and choose not to host events. But it is a beautiful property and the person I spoke with was very nice. I am hoping someone will realize the need for a nice wedding venue in Plfugerville and open something soon.

This review is long overdue, this place and the family who run it are nothing short of incredible. I've known Joanna (the coordinator and owner) for years and she is a wonderful person. I've seen her family host beautiful events and when it came time for my own wedding there was no contest, this was the place I wanted it.
Joanna walks you through every step of the process, she also sets up all the decor the day of so there is no stress for the bride. Very reasonable priced for the venue, all of our guests (especially the family from up north) said this is exactly what picturesque TX

I'm surprised no one has reviewed this from a guest perspective, allow me to begin. In a nutshell, its beautiful but not functional.
For starters take your expected guest number and divide by 2. Now you have your guest to bathroom ratio. Yes. 2 toilets for guests to fight over as they attempt to contain themselves after hours of food and booze. NOT NEARLY ENOUGH TOILETS!!
Next, they do not answer the phone. I called after my husband and I had trouble locating it ( there is a google map glitch which doesn't show the driveway) only to hear a voicemail that pretty much says "we

My husband and I had our wedding at Plantation House about a week ago and we could not be more thrilled with how everything turned out. Joanna and Amanda have been an absolute pleasure to work with for the past year, always happy to help with random questions and issues that came up during the planning process. They really take pride in ensuring everything is perfect and runs smoothly for the couples getting married there. And on top of everything, the venue is beautifully maintained. She looked into the venue's preferred florist/decorator (Luanna Clara Design) that the Plantation House has on their web page, she looked over her blog website then followed Luanna on Instagram and just loved her! Not only is the house beautiful, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, every event is organized with precision from a facility standpoint. The family that owns the house does a great job running the show while leaving room for third-party planners and vendors to do their thing.

We drove from Houston to Austin to visit this venue after trying to schedule an appointment for days (no answer on phones). When we arrived, we were disappointed to see it closed and when we dialed the number on the keypad to try to contact the office, they said they were closed and that we had to schedule an appointment in advance. The curb appeal is lackluster. Right next door to a trailer park. We will definitely cross this off our list.

The curb appeal of this venue is beautiful - featuring a lovely water feature and a large white house with elegant columns. The outside venue areas are well kept and perfect for an elegant wedding - complete with professional landscaping, tall trees, a gazebo, and crystal chandeliers. The reception room is all glass walls, which can be opened up. And the ceiling is draped with sheer fabric and soft lights.
To top it off, the owner is so sweet and helpful. I could tell she loves her job and takes pride in her work. I would be totally comfortable with her
