Are you constantly stressed out or have chronic body pain? Well, massage therapy could be just the thing you've been searching for. The Retreat on Horne Street is just the relaxing environment you want and need. Our North Carolina Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapists are there with one main goal, to help you eliminate your stress or pain.
We are proud to offer a wide variety of massage services, everything from the Swedish massage, to a hot stone massage, or even an Ashiatsu massage! We also offer other services such as Cupping, using negative pressure to increase blood flow, and integrative reflexology, which is stimulating the nerve endings on the bottom of the feet to spread a feeling of calm over your whole body.

Services
A hands on Full Body Massage of light to medium pressure. Relieves muscle tension, stimulates circulation, increases serotonin levels, improves muscle tone and promotes total mind and body relaxation. Studies indicate that massage therapy performed during pregnancy can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health.
There's no denying the power of bodywork. Regardless of the adjectives we assign to it (pampering, rejuvenating, therapeutic) or the reasons we seek it out (a luxurious treat, stress relief, pain management), massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen. Experts estimate more than ninety percent of disease is stress related.
All of the therapists at The Retreat on Horne are licensed by the State of North Carolina. Darlene worked in an office for over 17 years. She understands the impact of what stress and working in front of a computer can do to your body and posture. She discovered massage when a therapist helped her avoid a surgery due to a repetitive strain injury.

This is the best place to get a massage. No matter which therapist you choose they are all excellent. This is a beautifully restored home which has the he most serene and relaxing atmosphere and vibe. Very individualized massage and each therapist speaks with you in depth before massage to make sure you receive exactly what you want. Here you truly get the full amount of time for your massage. No rushing you in or out. I would not get a massage anywhere else.

My husband and I both had hour long massages this past Saturday. The atmosphere was so tranquil and relaxing and both Vilamon and Sonya were exceptional. My body has been lacking a massage for so long and I realize how much I need these monthly. Prices are so reasonably priced that it is hard not to pass up. Treat yourself and get the word out. This place "RUBS YOU RIGHT."
