Great Expectations Child Care Center Inc. offers the opportunity for each child to develop physically, socially and cognitively according to their individual learning style.Each child is considered unique in temperament and rate of development. Great Expectations offers both full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 6 weeks of age. Our program for infants sets its daily stride around the needs and unique differences of each child. Routines are the course for an infant's day and are the foundation for building trust. Every moment of an infant's day offers opportunities for learning and building reliable and dependable relationships.
Our young toddler program focuses on your child's natural need and desire to explore her new and changing world. By this time your child should begin to crawl, cruise and even walk. During this transition from infancy to toddlerhood, your child's curiosity of her environment will increase. Our young toddler program will continue to meet the needs of your child, while offering your child a safe environment where she can move freely and explore.
With improved coordination and cognitive abilities the world begins to open up for preschoolers. Purposeful play is the core of our preschool programming. Your expressive preschooler's day is filled with hands-on interactive experiences, because we know preschoolers learn by doing. Our programming begins each day with a morning meeting time to discuss the day's activities, review the calendar and talk about the weather.
Our Kinder-Ready program starts with a daily morning message and continues with small and large group learning experiences. At this age, school readiness becomes a priority. Our program goals are focused on providing your child with a solid foundation in the academic skills needed for Kindergarten and beyond.

We have just started sending our 3 year old to Great Expectations and have a great experience so far. The staff are always warm and excited to see my son. We also are able to get all our questions answered quickly. I especially love the app that is used to for daily reports and a picture every day. My son loves going to Great Expectations!!
EDIT: Still loving Great Expectations! We have been with them for 5 years (2 kids). It is going to be sad when our youngest finishes in the summer and heads off to kindergarten.

Wonderful teachers and staff! They provide individualized care and attention to all of their students, and truly try to create a unique educational experience for all of them. Our daughter received the love and support she needed to learn how to socialize, and ended up loving her experiences here.

Our son started here at 6 weeks old and we just left at 4.5 years old so that he could enter the UPK program in Orchard Park. Our experience at this daycare has been nothing short of excellent. I toured lots of local daycares and immediately fell in love with Great Expectations. When I walked in I felt like we were ‘family’. It didn’t feel ‘corporate’ like so many other centers do.

We could not ask for a better place to send our children each day than Great Expectations. Our children have grown leaps and bounds during their time there both academically and socially. The teachers love each and every one of those kids like their own. I have never had a worry in the 4 years we have been going there. I have recommended them time and time again!

My wife and I have been extremely happy with Great Expectations!
All of our children have been here at varying ages from 3 mo - 3yrs. The teachers are wonderful; our children have been given a great start in their education here. I could not recommend this daycare enough, the staff is great, the owners do a fantastic job running the daycare.

My first grader started at GE when she was 3 so completed pre-K and Kinder-Ready here. We absolutely loved the small center and even after she graduated, we kept in touch with her teachers. She was so well prepared for kindergarten last year and I am forever grateful to them for that. When I changed jobs to work from home, I decided to put my younger daughter at a home daycare close to my house. Unfortunately it didn't work out so we brought her to GE at 2.5 in the purple toddler room and couldn't be happier that we made the switch. We have been a part of the Great Expectations family since 2012, and have never had any second thoughts about it being the best place for our children. The center itself is always neat and clean and the teachers are phenomenal. Our 4 year old has been through each room at the center, and has learned so much along the way. I believe she will be well-prepared to enter kindergarten in the fall. We now have another infant who will undoubtedly learn and grow at Great Expectations just like her sister. Great Expectations is highly recommended!

Can not say enough positive things about this daycare center. From the second you walk in you feel welcomed. The staff and owners go above and beyond to make this just like your second family. My 5 year old graduated from their kinder ready program and my 3 year old is currently in the purple toddler room. My 5 year old is rocking kindergarten because of all their hard work preparing her! My 3 year old is learning things i would never think to teach him. Thank you to all of you lovely ladies for loving my children as if they were your own. This place comes highly recommended!

Our daughter started at this daycare at 6 months and son started as a newborn. The infant room is just what we hoped for with individual cribs, tummy time, and enough assistants to help give our son the attention needed.The classrooms are seperated by age to help develop the childrens learning appropriately. The hallways and rooms are spotless and very clean and germ free! Everything is wiped down and everything is upto date. The instructors and assistants are phenominal and you can see the passion and pride
