If your bedroom is located upstairs, you may want to stay downstairs or with a friend instead, depending on your activity restrictions. Stop taking all aspirin and products that have aspirin in them. If you have been prescribed aspirin by your doctor, please discuss this with Dr. Ruas. Also stop taking ibuprofen and all other NSAIDS unless specifically discussed with Dr. Ruas.
Many common plastic surgical procedures are performed on the face. Often these procedures are combined to provide a rejuvenation of the entire face. Sometimes it is better to perform these procedures in stages, depending upon the extent and desires of the patient. Frequently the brow, eyes, face, and neck will all benefit from rejuvenation, but the type and extent of treatment is always tailored to the individual.
A Brow Lift is a procedure that is used to rejuvenate the forehead and the eyes to make you appear more rested, peaceful, and youthful. This can create an extra fold of skin or even prevent the eyelids from opening completely. This is the reason that brow lift procedures are often performed with eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty).

I had a breast augmentation done by Dr Ruis. This man is nothing less than a gifted artist! He did an amazing job on my body.....and you would never guess I had surgery. Dr Ruis helped me to feel confident about my body. I would highly recommend him to any woman considering an augmentation!! Best doctor ever!!!

Our daughter had bilateral cleft lip. During the pregnancy, we had a consult with our local big city children's hospital, which is widely known for how great their craniofacial team is. We were told to expect several surgeries with revisions, etc in the first year. Our daughter has other medical issues which also require surgery, so this was a great concern for us. We researched and found a facebook page where parents of cleft kids at that hospital had 8-12 surgeries by the age of 8, with photos showing children with large scars. We met Dr. Ruas when our son was 10 days old. When our son was 10 weeks old, Dr. Ruas repaired his cleft lip. He made us feel very comfortable with the procedure he was going to do, and the results were absolutely amazing! Our son is now almost 2 and no one would ever know he'd ever had any reconstructive surgery. Not only was his work amazing, but also his office staff. They were able to get us an appointment right away, and quickly came up with a surgical plan. Our family will be forever grateful!!!

I've been to Dr. Ruas several times since 2002 and have had 2 surgeries and a couple of minor procedures. I've never written a review but I should have long ago. He is the only doctor that I trust to do any surgery correctly. His staff is amazing and the doctor and staff are all kind, informative, personable and put their patient's care above everything. I have nothing but good things to say and nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Ruas and staff.
