When you separate from your husband, you make a decision to end the marriage and stop living together as husband and wife. In Virginia, you have to be separated for a certain period of time before you can get divorced-one year, unless you (1) don't have any minor children, and (2) have a signed agreement in place-then, you can get divorced in six months.

I was recommended to this firm by my therapist. She assured me that this firm was dedicated to helping mothers like myself. I have spent over $6,000 and a year later I have a draft of a separation agreement. NOT A DIVORCE! It'll be an additional 5,000 to get started with a divorce. How they expect a mother of 4 with no support to still manage after emptying her pockets does not seem like a firm that looks out for the well being of others. I went to another local firm who immediately offered me mediation so I would not have to spend so much money. I will be divorced in a couple of weeks through

Can't go into detail because my divorce isn't final but I'm telling you, worth every penny! Sheera has done a fantastic job representing me and making sure I get what I want. They offer boot camps for women. Have a support group when there isn't a pandemic.... the office staff is kind.

I had a consultation with Ashli Pack. She seemed very bored, disinterested, and maybe jaded with her work, and I left feeling like it was a HUGE waste of the $250 I spent for the few minutes I was with her. Divorce and separation is difficult, as it is life-changing. She kept looking at her computer, not at me, as if she had better things to do. I kept asking her questions because she was offering no information, and she was annoyed. I walked in hopeful, and left deflated. I need an attorney who will advocate for me and help me, and not present as bored when I need her help.

Katie Carter I cant say enough she truly helped me through such a hard time. I had no clue about what to expect I never had to use a lawyer and she made everything so easy. The office was also very friendly. If you are battling with custody, divorce Mrs. Carter is the perfect person for the job and I would use her again if ever presented the issues again...

This place will rob you and their employees will yell at you in the process! Do not use this law firm for any legal assistance. There are much more compassionate and affordable lawyers in the area to help you through a trying time. I'm a student who had little to give and they took every dime that I had ($5,000) just to sign a papers for an uncontested divorce... not to mention it took 2 years for them to even get the paperwork to the courthouse. They consistently sent my divorce decree to the courthouse, only to have it returned because they didn't proofread a LEGAL DOCUMENT. Dates
