The most-asked question I get is "How and why did you ever decide to get into the engraving business?" It is a very simple answer - I like helping people and saving them money. Back in 1981, I moved to California from New York (Rockland County) and teamed up with my best friend in another business which I still own (Have Wash Will Travel, Inc.) and still operate.
Like any business in the beginning, it's hard to split up the profits when there isn't that much money coming in for two families, so we both went our different directions, and he has done very well over the years. Anyway, in 1996 my clients from my other business starting asking me where they could get a sign made at a reasonable cost.
