Services
At Carr & Associates we are committed to providing the whole family with a range of quality dental services. We originally started as a pediatric only dental practice but have now expanded to include dental needs for the whole family, providing patients with comprehensive dental treatment all in one location!
We love seeing little ones! We prefer to see kids as early as age 1 so that we can develop a trusting relationship with both you and your baby. Don't wait until the age of 3 or 4 to bring in your child, because they may already have cavities by then. Emergencies: as babies grow and start to learn to walk this can often lead to accidents with coffee tables and siblings.
The simple answer is that teeth should be cleaned as soon as the first tooth first appears. Brushing your baby's teeth with a size appropriate toothbrush and with full strength fluoride toothpaste (1000 ppm) has proven to be the best protection against tooth decay. Children 0-3 years should use a size of a grain of rice of fluoride toothpaste.
I am worried about my child's visit to get teeth fixed, is there anything I can do to help?. There is a lot of variation among children. The likely answer is no! Primary teeth begin to arrive around 6 months of age. By age two, 16 teeth usually are present and the last of the molars begin to appear, but they do not finish erupting until around 30 months.
How can I prevent my child from getting cavities as he/she starts growing permanent teeth?. The arrival of permanent teeth occurs at 6 years +/- 6 months. With the exception of the wisdom teeth, the last of the permanent teeth come in around 12 years of age. Tooth eruption can be variable. Girls tend to get teeth earlier than boys.

It’s hard to say all the good things about this dentist office because there’s so many. With a history of bad tooth health you can imagine I’ve been to many dentist offices with many different Doctors. This place is the only one that I felt like they actually wanted to help me and are happy to do so with care. I appreciate everything and everyone there. I’ve always been self conscious about my smile and never showed my teeth, but soon that will change thanks to this dentist office.

I had a great experience today at Carr & Associates. Despite the current pandemic, all the staff took careful steps to treat me and ensure everyone involved. I want to thank the receptionist, Dr. Z, and DH Nelson Martinez for providing an excellent experience. The overall highlight of which was the great tips Nelson provided to improve my overall dental health. Thank you all, and see you guys again in 6 months!

Best dentist experience I’ve ever had, despite the fact that we are in this weird environment dealing with covid. Nelson was extremely helpful during my cleaning, explained and shared a lot of very important information with me about my teeth. His level of customer service, care and knowledge was astounding. Very impressed and pleased with my visit here today.

My experience was fantastic and that's saying a lot for a trip to the dentist's office! Estefania(dental hygienist) made me feel super comfortable and helped to calm my nerves by just being wonderfully funny and kind. She also did a great job cleaning my teeth! Dr. Robins was super thorough and explained everything in a really clear and compassionate way. Really grateful, I was super anxious going in and thanks to the both of them the experience was great.

My visit was horrible. I grew up going to this office so I decided to return as an adult wrong decision! The dentist I meet with was extremely rude and also the office dental exam room was dirty and so was the equipment. From what I hear the pediatric side of the office is still great but I will not be returning

Very professional. This is my third cleaning here since we moved. Each hygienist has been extremely thorough in what I should be doing to have exceptional oral care. Today, Nelson showed me techniques for both electric brushing and flossing. It may seem obvious to read but it’s helpful to hear tips every 6 months. Would recommend to anyone who asked for a dentist in the area. Great bedside manner.

One of the best dental experiences I have had thus far. Had Nelson as my dental hygienist and have to say it was the one of the most gentle and thorough experiences I have had yet. He was very knowledgeable and kind throughout the whole process, asking me if I had any questions, telling me everything he was going to do, teaching techniques for efficient cleaning, I could go on. I also saw Dr. Smith for a general oral exam and he was also very gentle and kindly answered my questions thoroughly. I did not feel rushed at all. It really is great when you have a care team that is passionate in their

By far the best experience I’ve had at the Dentist ever. My fear of the dentist unfortunately resulted in me not going but having my teeth cleaned by Nelson was perfect. He was patient and thorough during my cleaning. He gave me great advice on how to properly take care of my teeth. Today was my second time having a cleaning by Nelson and the experience was just as good as the first. I’m no longer afraid of the dentist thanks to Nelson!! Dr. Chang was awesome as well!! The staff are all nice and helpful!!!

This is a low budget dentistry where appliances are never clean. Every appointment everything is dirty, hair all over the lights and the assistants never use gloves to put the instruments together. There's stains all over the instrument table. It's not ideal for any patient to be in there. I wonder if they get inspections like other businesses cause they sure could use a few. I only recommend this place as a last resort like I did. Other than that please look into a dentist school they are better taught and clean.

So who actually enjoys going to the dentist?! Hopefully no one unless they have a thing for sharp objects :)

I actually don't mind my routine cleaning appointments because my teeth always feel awesome afterwards. Recently, I learned that I had to do a deeper cleaning since I slacked off in the winter. Yudi did a great job keeping my at ease throughout the process. She was very personable and answered all my nervous questions with professionalism and details. Her jokes though could use some work, however she tries really hard ;)

Her colleague also explained the insurance process, what my

The people working here and kind and informative. My boyfriend has a fear of dentists and I took him here after many years of him avoiding teeth cleanings. The Dental hygienist named Judi was easily one of the nicest hygienists I have ever met, she really took time and care to clean his teeth especially since I told him he has a fear of the dentist. The dentist was also a nice young gentleman who's name I did not catch. I am happy with the experience we had and will likely continue to go there for treatment.

I picked this orthodontics office as oppose to another because of the $2000 price difference and the different treatment provided. Also I researched, like CRAZY, the Dr that was going to treat me. They mainly treat middle school kids from what I've noticed which is understandable.

Now this place is not the most modern place, but it's none of my concern. At the other ortho offices I was given a business email where I can contact the Dr. I asked one from this place (because I'm creating a vlog on my adult braces journey) but they don't have one. Which is odd but fine you can

If you're looking for great service without waiting 4 hours to see a dentist this is the office for you! They even work on Saturdays, so no need to take a day off work or take the kids out of school! I brought my daughter here, we were seen within 10 minutes! The dentist was so nice and explained to me step by step what she was going to do for my daughter. we both had a great experience and I would highly recommend this office.

I was anxious taking my daughter to the dentist because I have not had great experiences with dentists. It was wonderful for her. It is colorful, there are toys and they specialize in working with children. She had a great appointment and got stickers which thrilled her. I am so glad that she will have a very different experience with her dentist than I had growing up. I was also impressed that they have been around a long time. I met another parent in the waiting room who had been a patient of Dr. Carr and was now bringing her son.
