Since 2013, we have resided in the Heathwood Blvd. Mall. Our school is within walking distance of the High and Middle Schools as well as Kipps Elementary School. The school provides lockers for students to store shoes and other items while they take part in class. We have two handicap accessible restrooms within the school. There is comfortable seating area for parents who would like to watch or work while their child is taking part in class.
Services
Our instructors are highly qualified and have significant knowledge and training. Each of them are Kukkiwon Certified Blackbelts and have over 40 years of combined experience. Since its foundation in 2006, Pil Seung Taekwondo continues to welcome new students year after year. We strive to meet and exceed all of our students' needs.
We practice World Tae Kwon Do which is governed by the Kukkiwon. World Tae Kwon Do has over 30 million practitioners in over 100 countries and it is the same style that is in the Olympics. We offer private lessons for students that want to have a more individualized training experience. Students work one on one with our instructors.
This program is designed for 4-6 year old children that do not have experiance with martial arts. Students usually will learn disipline, focus, and attention. The classes are set up differentally from the other martial arts classes. We focus on the needs of younger students with additional practice on skills.
The third friday of every month is dedicated towards testing. If you are ready to test but cannot make testing we will be willing to help the student find a time to test. We understand that students advance at different rates and try to accommodate these differences. All testing fees are due at time of testing.

Family oriented and student focused. One of the best traditional martial art schools in SW Virginia. This school has a class for all ages and abilities. Master Rupert and his staff are energetic and fun, which shows in his students and families. Kukkiwon Certified too!!! You will not be disappointed.
